quick game recap xellos @11 vs Shies @7 on Desperado Shies does a fast expo CC to his min nat. Xellos goes into super aggro early game mode and does some vulture+marine rushing which does pretty significant damage. both players start going tanks+goliaths+dropships. xellos gets the first couple of drops off, but does minimal damage. however, xellos is clever enough to target sheis's dropships when xellos drops around. even tho xellos loses all his units pretty badly (xellos would lose 3-4 tanks + 6 goliaths and sheis would lose 2 tanks + 1 goliath + 2 dropthips) xellos was able to effectively cut down on sheis's mobility in the mid game xellos capitalized on this to take out sheis expansions @6 and @5. xellos was slowly taking @12 and @1. It looked all but over until sheis started doing some heavy dropping action on xellos's main. at the same time, sheis took the @9 island expansion. xellos was even forced to lift his main CC! however, xellos superior positioning and ability to prevent sheis from expanding eventually gave xellos enough momentum to pull the win yaaay | ||
