His strategy and build was perfect. He has found the perfect counter to the same old, macro-based Savior style that he has been using in every single match: muta, expand, lurker.

Bisu used the same, old-school style of Pusan[s.g], using a corsair opening. Safer than the Sasin-style of AnyTime, which was DT-rushing, but still relying on DTs as an essential means of harassing. And the number of DTs is large: 4-6, as opposed to other progamers (2-3).

Now Savior has to find a new build order to prevent this from happening again. But, for now, he will still rape most other players, until they adapt to his boring, muta-3hatch-5hatch-lurker play.

Hm, Bisu's play, while undoubtedly having many influences from pusan, reminded me much more of how anytime plays PvZ - mass sair zealot, mass sair -> goon reaver, mass sair -> dts.. Maybe it's just me tho.

Bisu is a fusion of the 2 neotoss kings (PuSan/Anytime (poor stork ))

So how does seeding for the next tournament work? Do the top 2 or top 4 get seeds?

Boxer's strats are worth it though coz he's boxer...

What does Savior's strat have to do with 2-gate proxy? Those guys don't care about great games... only about winning.

And what the fuck does it have to do with Boxer's strategies? He has no strategies, only cute little micro tricks that only worked in the 2000-2003 years. His strategies are pure shit against Savior. Don't bring up Boxer needlessly. -_-;

wtf how was that cheese.
I consider it under the category of "harass."

And by the way, this reminds me of Nal_ra vs Chojja on Detonation F. Pure aewsome timing rushes, right before the zerg gains any momentum :O

Oh wtf, how can you call boxer's strategies shit just because he lost to Savior - I guess oov and nada are also outdated since they can't beat him either?

lol its alright, the babies that are crying "cheese" are just the savior fanboys who were just shocked that he got steam rolled by Bisu. And then they are also like "did you see him dance his hydra at the end! He shows that he doesnt care about winning the MSL!" Gah just stop crying he lost and he knows it took obviously. Savior is an amazing player; but he's going to lose a couple of games.

It's obvious that Savior's ludicrous practice schedule and the pressure took its toll. Personally, I was half-expecting this kind of result. Winning two major leagues at the same time is unheard of (yes, I know Nada did it at close times but he had the same opponent in both finals - an important little detail). As for Bisu, I doubt he will be in another msl or osl final, let alone win again any time soon. I'd be glad if he proved me wrong though.

Whatisprotoss, what I meant was that while you call saviors way of playing boring I think it opens up for great long games.
I don't think he plays that way to give the audience better games but simply because its the way he plays.

Like the first game vs Nada in the finals, it was a great game because Nada managed to survive for so long. Second game was not a great game since Nada rushed in and it was over so fast.. rest of the games savior outplayed Nada far to quick for it to become great games...

I know savior has 5 pooled once and maybe done a few other tricks aswell, but usually he does the 3hatch opening and it will be a great game if his opponent doesnt fuck up too fast.

Now he will probably have to rethink his strategies against protoss since a new wave of bisustrategies will come shortly.
Maybe he will change his way of playing abit or maybe he was just out of shape that day and know he can beat those strategies with his normal play if he just executed them with his normal skill. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
According to Reach, he is the fastest learner he has ever seen. He start bw only like 2/3 years ago. Infact, his bw history knowledge is so limited, he didn't even know what the map Guillotine was.

I think Savior should do the SK thing and concentrate solely on one league next year. Otherwise I think he's going to burn out and be a spent force. No question that Bisu played great but only the most one-sided anti-fan couldn't have noticed that Savior wasn't on form. Personally, I think he should concentrate on the OSL solely because he's already won the MSL 3 times. Nobody can keep up that amount of intensity for too long without having a breakdown. I hope he can recover enough for a good showing in the masters.
ps- isn't it noticeable how most Savior fans were very supportive of Bisu. I think it shows a lot more maturity than the savior-hater retards who couldn't stop spewing out senseless bile and trying to stomp him into the ground.
