Not sure who deserves to advance in the other group tho.

I want to see Mind and Larva moving up. And Sea for other group.

Want Larva and free.
Won't get to watch this live unfortunately.

If Larva can bring his improved play today, he is a legitimate threat to Mind and Bisu.
As for group D. I don't want Sea in but Free and sSak aren't doing great

Looking forward to this!!!! Go go go Protoss AIUR rulezzzzz!!!

so each player has to play 6 matches in the tiebreaker? this is so weird. in the old star leagues, bisu would have advanced after 2 wins already.

bisu did advance, the next game with larva and mind will decide which of the two advance, then we move on to group D
those 6 matches in LP is the maximum possible games for which the map was set.

lol what?
his zerg was always pretty good though.
larva makes faster third lowering the count of the muta > doing no damage, in that time no lurkers but hive tech, making his whole build completelly inefective against standart terran play.
that was just killer timing on those 2 pushes from mind 10 seconds later on either push and they would have been deflected
Larva still very behind but picks off 3 tanks in siege mode and intercepts a dropship a couple more misplays from mind and larva might be able to get back into this
as soon as I write this Larva lets a 2nd dropship go the exact same way and loses a mineral line, then mis-burrows a lurker
Eraser time Mind, go for it pls...

a bit unfortunate with that timing on his 3rd, but he should have had something to scout the MnM force rolling in on time.

In one of his interviews he said that he thought about switching to zerg more than one time and that a comeback to bw might be a good opportunity to do so. So if he was practice partner for Mind against Larva he must have played zerg right? But yeah, his zerg was pretty good.
he had low muta he did no damage to terran, low lings and no lurkers, he intentionally did that hoping to get away with it, but against mind it cant happen like that.
Sad to see Larva go, but Mind is such a strong player that I think the tournament is better if he moves on.

Why sSak vs Sea i thought it will be free? gogo sea!
Japan11286 Posts
Nah, according to the format by Prech, the next one is indeed sSak vs Sea.
sea has better unit control.
sea closing sSak in the left down angle of the map, sSak cant reinforce to his upper expos.
sSak bruteforcing towards 5. Shifts direction towards 6. Sea's wraiths are out in force.
damn stream keeps refusing to reload for me
So it looks like left-right halves are going to become top-bottom halves.
lol, map gets divided horisontally with Sea losing all his starports in bottom right.
I think one of the two have to hit the production buildings and will win.
Sea pushing southwards on the left side. sSak has a huge force on the field, but Sea sieges and gets positioning first. So sSak counterattacks northwards on the other side of the map.
sSak with pretty big army, marchin around the map.
sSak suicides 1/3 of his army to sieges at top left
no mining for sSak, Sea secured 2 bases.
Damn stream is frozen for me. sSak doesn't look like he has any mining bases.

Actually, sSak has the 6 base. Both players' armies whittled down to defensive positions.

That's not a problem of experience though, more a problem of skill.

Last has been around for a very long time. It's a problem of current praxis and talent. Another 2 years don't help him to understand the TvP match up better than he already does.

It has been great, the screen at the Afreeca studio is so clear, I don't know, it just feels much better than the screens they used during the SSL (SSL9 I think, it was about 2 years ago) and it makes the experience super awesome, and the players always walk right beside you. Anyway, great times, I don't know when I'll go again, but at the very least I will go for the finals (I'm living quite far from the studio).

Unfortunately I never had a chance to use them also in my region they don't exist/never sold. I heard in Korea you can find them easily, Commatech produces similar ones and Zowie Mico looks like remake, still I heard they have some custom acceleration thing in it and they're not 400 DPI which suits perfectly for BW. Only problem I encounter from extensive use is cord breaks, buttons seem to work fine. Also Logitech is known to produce long durable mice not SC2 players favorite overpriced Razer. Last most similar thing I bought is G100s but still LMO seems way lighter.

I knew I should have gotten one when I went there. I've always had to deal with either cheap imitations or heavy mice (not suitable for gaming imo) that I've gotten for free so I haven't had the chance to see whether legit good stuff is actually worth the investment as I don't really have the budget to buy these things regularly.
