I'm rooting for Hwasin. Even though I generally like to see Zerg players triumph over those imperialistic Terrans, I find Saviour's style to be boring. I much prefer to watch players like July and Yellow Jr.
I'm hoping we get some gg's just like last night, which was awesome.

protoss opens 8pylon @ ramp probably going to fast expand, probe scouts the right direction
while baka opens 12 pool
protoss goes forge + 2 cannons before expo
baka hatch @ nat and will also expo to 5gas,
lings out for baka, but protoss will be safe for any harass due to 2 cannons.. nexus goes up for protoss and lings are scouting for any proxies; which there are none.
Protoss's probe is still inside baka's main- 2 lings trying to kill it, sees a 4th hatch dropped in the main and gas is taken by baka as well...
gate finishes for protoss and a probe scouts baka's expo @ 5gas, and a ling at the ramp prevents the probe from doing any proxies up there... probe STILL in main wow o.o;;
expo done for protoss, core going up and taken both gas, lair for baka now too; protoss sending another probe to 5... HIS PROBE IS STILL ALIVE CAN YOU BELEIVE IT
the 2nd probe goes unnoticed by the ling, and is hiding in 5min only, hydra den for baka, and citadel and stargate for protoss... a creep colony is dropped @ baka's nat-> sunk, PROBE IS STILL ALIVE, 2 zealots going to harass 5, which also has a creep col; going into sunken now... pylon being built @ min only of 5, zealots try to wall, but fail and lings get past; and kill the probe- no proxies today! zealots killing some lings and sair harassing ovies but hydras are out in time... 2 more gates for protoss and temp tech. spire tech for baka; sair gets an ovie kill thanks to hydra being distracted by zealots @ 5
baka adding 3 creep cols@ nat -> sunkens, and has 2 evo chambers; protoss also has robo tech and obs tech- very efficient; but no templars and spire tech is about to finish
lings going into protoss's nat! but dont go in, because too many cnanons, first temp out and cannon being build in min line @ main for protoss; zealots have speed and are moving around to baka's nat; which is now defended by about 7 lurkers and sunks; 2 scourge kill the harassing sair; and protoss has an archon @ main. Lords scattering about the map; and protoss takes 9gas- lings come to shut it down! but tooo many zealots; HOWEVER lurkers make sure protoss gets OWNT; also scourge kills obs, and forces a cancel of expo..
another gate being adding in main for a total of 5 i think.. while baka expos to 5min with 2 hatcheries and adds a queens nest. Baka is moving around with lings checking expos, while taking 7main... lurkers are camping protoss's south bridge; and stopping any escape (and killing any obs with scourge) protoss going for a drop with a shuttle, but it is seen by ovies; he also moves his army around to 1; scourges kill shuttle but no cargo is lost as it was dropped... predominantly zealot/archon/temp army for protoss vs ling/lurker and hive is completed for baka
protoss must have atleast 7 gates now, and another forge warping.. baka is playing lurker whore style.. thus not that interesitng... protoss will lose if he cant shut down 7;; which is now getting gas. protoss expos to 1gas, and ultra tech is being built @ 5min
goon/zealot/archon army now for protoss, and many lings are repelled by cannons @ 1... baka has added a spore; what a whore!. baka is also taking 7 nat i thin.. and goons are attempting to kill the blockade @ his south gate, but obs got sniped.. however storm finishes the job.. protoss also expanding to 9gas... baka adding more sunks @ nat;; wow he is lame... gateways being build @ 1 for a blockade and 7nat is finished for baka... baka has many many lings, protoss scouts 7nat! and his army follows it up quickly, DARKTEMPLAR score ALOT of kills! no ovies = many many dead lings and lurkers nice!! all lurkers down and spore is up.. so obs died, my bad there is 1 or 2 lurkers left which get stormed! nat will probably fall!!! IT WILL!! nice move!!
Baka now has a ling/ultra army @ 5, and may move to 7 to kill protoss's army! he will try but not enough lings... ultras however turn the tide and force protoss to retreat to the top of the ramp and baka is repelled; baka must have atleast 8 ultras... zealots raping 7 main, and protoss moves onto 7nat to challenge baka's ult/ling army with a goon army.. which failed.. but alot of the drones@ the expo died before being stopped... protoss has reaver tech ( but i dont see reavers yet) and a bunch of idle probes @ main.. baka is centralising his army and moving @ 9gas!! gosu stormy kills alot of the lings!!!! but ultralisks and really proving strong! protoss reinforces with archons and defeats the ultra... bUT REINFORCEMENTS FOR BAKA ARRIVE!! 9GAS FALLS!!!! probes maynarded to 1... protoss is mined out@ nat and main! and a lurker drop @ 1 kills alot of probes... protoss in trouble... baka is mined out @ main
Baka is mixing lurkers back into his army; smart move.. however protoss does have an obs.. reaevers @ 1... MASS OF ZERG ULT/LING GO TO 1!!! OMGGGG THAT IS ALOT OF UNITS!!!!

baka played really boring, and just turtled to 4 gas and massed ultra/ling.. he was really lazy as well.. i mean that probe was alive in his main for a goood 5 minutes

Hwasin realized how much damage Savior's muta harass did and tried to go allin instead of powering his economy. He came pretty close to winning too but Savior pulled it out and after a few attacks his economy/tech overpowered Hwasin.

Yes, Hwasin's push was very close to killing Savior's nat twice. But Savior used good flanks to just barely stop Hwasin until his economic advantage kicked in, then it was over for Hwasin.

Considering the zerg player's ability to exploit Mutalisk speed + movement against ground troops and static defense, why do terran players still build their supply depots in a way that hamper's their mnm movement around their mineral line? sAviOr outclassed Hwasin that game, but I think Hwasin simply isn't as mentally and functionally prepared enough to be able to beat sAviOr in this bo5.

If savior 3-0's this on these maps vs Hwasin, he's one crazy mofo.
Prolly will be 3-1 with some slipup on RLT with a timing push or an unholdable endgame on DF.
If savior takes a game on DF or RLT I'm pretty sure he'll finish it on blitz.
Lets hope for some good games!

that was good defence from savior in the followup and initial attacks; thats where hwasin lost it; when his vessel got scourged the first time in the initial attack

Savior was prepared for a drop on the exp with sunk/ling plus the units he was flanking Hwasin's main attack force with can run back there easily. And if Hwasin drops there he wouldn't even have the men for an attack on Savior's nat, which he came close to breaking into but not quite.

Well.
Savior was a bit behind because his 9 pool didn't do any damage. However Hwasin didn't think that saviour would build any more lings and tried to timing rush, which failed horribly. That was the crucial point, as savior kept on building lings and tried to counter. Well it almost worked, hwasin only very barely managed to save his wall. But after savior realized that the wall would hold he canceled some building lings and that was where his entire timing went down the drain. That's why hwasin's attack was as successful.
Then hwasin gathered some more marines and attacked, at this point savior still COULD have won, but he relied on only one sunken. Hwasin had nice firebat placement and killed some drones. And from that point on it was over I think. Savior tried to do some muta ling all in crap but didn't work agaisnt hwasin's 4 rax.

Savior was hoping for his mutas to be on time and avoid having to build other sunkens. He already had a shitty drone count. But Hwasin timing was too good in that game

Well he didn't even need to kill drones really because saviors economy was crap anyways. His ling tactics in the beginning really made his drone count suffer. Although it was a very nice try from savior I think...

it was a BO "mistake" with too greedy sunks i think. the all-in isn't savior's style and he probably felt that after losing the drones at nat he was not going to be able to do his usual thing.

Saviors Muta/Scourge map domination with defense was almost beyond human in perfection.
interesting map stats, didnt know toss got that much of a beating from T on this map.
Thought it was about 50/50 in all MUs

According to the numbers Blitz X is pretty balanced in all match-ups. I think Savior's going to have the advantage here.

Savior only had one or two pairs of scourge with his guardians which is a bad move when it's obvious what his plan is. When I've played 3 gas guardian rush I always expect more wraith/valk/vessel than Savior was prepared for.

The lack of irradiate hurt him too. If he could have gotten rid of the defilers, he could have recovered. Definitely should have lifted that cc though T_T.

i dont get it why people say hwasin threw the game. savior followed his strat which was fast defilers off 2 gas with a late exp. not lifting cc or saving scvs wouldnt have changed the outcome anyway.

Hwasin denied Savior a 2nd expo twice, so Savior was definitely behind. If Hwasin had pulled his army back from 12 literally 2 seconds earlier he could have stopped the swarms in his nat and gone on to win an easy endgame.
CC lift/scv run were inconsequential. After Savior got swarms in the nat Hwasin never had a chance to retake it.

I think Saviors move might have been a little desperate, but the brilliant part is how he used his expo as a fake, you will notice he didnt make any drones. Because hwasins army was away savior could walk right into hwasins base. GG savior so smart ~_~

A throw away ? I\\\'m not so sure, even if he could lift his cc i don\\\'t think that game would change anything because he didn\\\'t irradiate a defiler once. Which is i think why he didn\\\'t win the game.
But the most notable thing is that savior really played pretty well because even if he had been in trouble about his 2nd expansion, he kept his mind about getting defiler asap. I know there\\\'d be not a lot of players who wouldn\\\'t have thought about it.
When i was thinking about getting hive + mound when seeing the 2nd expansion almost tearing apart, i applauded when i saw it was already done.
Truely a fearsome player.

About the final Bisu-Savior, I dont think that the problem will be PvZ, lately protosses are playing very good against zergs(except pusan-jju) they found their way to deal with that nasty animals, however the problem will be that savior is just too good at that moment, bisu will have 50/50 chance against anyoter zerg

big difference. on rt he was aggressive while playing at a disadvantage because of the early attack. vs midas on hitchhiker 2nd time midas blew his mm rush allowing savior to control the game with his muta harass and do whatever he wanted.

NaDa is back in his old shape though, plus he's confident. You can tell a big difference in his face. How he plays now and how he used to play. He used to look very nervous all the time with mouth open alot. now he just has this badass, "I am a champion, and I will destroy you" Face.

1) Dont even bother thinking that the result of the super fight says more than 10 % about the outcoming of the OSL Final.
2) NaDa vs Savior will be one hell of a game and hopefully be the series the names indicates it to be.

NaDa is definitely in better shape than he was during Superfight. Presuming Savior beats Iris (a safe bet), we're in for one hell of a finals.

How can we say Nada is in better shape going into the finals of this OSL than Shinhan bank season 2? There he dominated all the way through until matching up well against Anytime for the win. Nada has struggled all through this OSL.

The fact that Savior made it to these finals with these maps and the strategies he played. I'll take my hat off to you sir.
Some luck along the way, but as much bad luck as well now and then. All in all he really did it on innovation, skill and solid titanium balls.
Hwasin played really well but needs experience I think, he looks very promising but plays so uninspired just as midas. I like Casy and UpMagic so much more and I'll enjoy seeing more of all of them in the future Im sure.
I just don't like nada for some reason :/
Hope it's gonna be awsome finals for the MSL and no steamroll, and that tomorrow gives us a nice semi final!

I kinda agree with Chapfou on this one. Hwasin has been on fire TvZ lately and he was being hyped heavily by the TL.net community but I was never that impressed with his play.
Let's take a look at this series. I know a win is a win and taking 2 of 5 of savior is a great accomplishment but I think that savior lost games 2 and 4 more than hwasin won it. Hwasin had excellent muta harass defense in both games and he did play really solid but there was nothing there that really impressed me too much.
On the other hand, he lost 2x on longinus and once on desert fox. He had a significant lead in the game on desert fox and the last game on longinus. He lost way too many dropships on desert fox and showed pretty poor control and overall management IMO. The last game on longinus, he really should have handled that last attack much better. Although it probably wouldn't have mattered anyway, not lifting the CC or moving SCVs away was a bit amateurish IMO. And the first game on longinus, losing so many marines to 6 lings is not something that you would typically see fro the top tvz players like casy, boxer, nada.
Hwasin's results have been very impressive lately, but his actual play has been less so for me. I don't think he has shown enough to qualify for the "godly TvZ" category. I'd still put nada, casy, midas, and an in shape boxer and oov above hwasin. I'd say hwasin's TvZ is closer to the likes of sea and light (very good but not godly) than nada and casy.

Nada dominated his way through because he didn't meet anyone who could really compare to him until Anytime.. I haven't been keeping up super-closely with this OSL but I'd say the people he's met this time around - Yellow[name] (art ZvT), Iloveooov and Much are quite a bit better than the people he had to go through last time :D

Nice to read that. At last I hear about Bisu vs Savior finals. In both threads people discuss only OLS final and forgot MSL one. People tell me which of you think that bisu can take this bo5. It seems to me no but maybe someone thinks by another way?

Incredible play by Savior. When I'm thinking, "oh oh. Savior is in trouble now," he magically blocks the attack that would kill every other pro zerg. Being a Zerg player myself, there were so many "how the fuck did he do that" moments especially on these Terran flavored maps
After the fall of July, rose the Savior of Zerg. 
MSL Final will be painful to watch. PvZ and against Savior . However, the maps are pretty good for Protoss against Zerg.

sAviOr will probably spend all this week practicing ZvT for the OSL final while Bisu has 2 full weeks of practicing nothing but PvZ knowing that zerg is sAviOr. So it will probably be a good final.

OSL: The MOST EPIC ZvT/TvZ OF ALL TIME (3-2 most likely, the kind of match in which result doesn't matter (but Savior FIGHTING > ))
