In the meantime he should have taken the 6 o'clock base. I never understood why players are so conservative in taking expansions. Sure it costs some money, but how is you opponent going to attack them all? That is what Kwanro thought and he won because of it | ||

That is what Kwanro thought and he won because of it Tanks often run into lurker-range if you let them attack unsieged, and Leta has other stuff to do, too. Sieging up kills them safely if you're busy elsewhere and it doesn't waste that much time, also you expect other units to come help the lurkers. It's situational tho, mb not sieging would have been right here. Kwanro actually would have a short way to attack that 6 o'clock... with lurk/ling and swarm. On that lvl you have to be very careful taking expansions, especially as Terran. Kwanro was quite ahead after his 2hatch, thus he could take 2 bases easily. Leta should have attacked top left tho, i agree, but earlier, with his first push, there was no nydus there. And burrowed lurkers/units do take damage from splash. | ||

He did not discover them before the natural one was finished. If Leta had used a bit more time in positioning his tanks he could have used one scan and no siege and it would have taken care of the lurkers in no time and he would have killed of the expansion afterwards.
