Ah, the real toss up group.
Heart says Mini but brain says Hiya and Ssak.

come'n magikarp, you can do it!

Magikarp is clearly going to get out.
+ Show Spoiler +I don't actually watch enough modern BW to know who's good so I'm just relying on my memories from the days when BW was still televised.

Torunments that start at the R016 create pretty stacked groups. Always makes good viewer.
I am so glad Terror has put on this tournment we need something between the SSL's. We can't really have a Broodwaar scene with just SSL's as great as they are.
No idea who's going to get out of this one I voted sSak and mini but my heart wants Hiya and and Hero.

Good game. Ssak enters the Round of 8!

Allow me to quote myself from yesterday: Zerg needs to play too good against Terran. It's just becoming too difficult. Whenever the Terran has a distinctive advantage, the Zerg is dead. Not at all the other way around.
It is time to rethink the maps, even Fighting Spirit. Looking at SOSPA era stats, it is just too obvious that modern TvZ is next to broken. It is not yet broken, but it is getting there.

Terror asked Britney if he's pregnant.
Britney introduces Ssak as being "Number 1 among pro-gamers"... in terms of head size.
Introducing Hero as the Zerg Bisu fears most. They quote Bisu as saying "Provided I don't meet Hero first, I will definitely make it to the finals."
|
The winner's interview with Ssak is hilarious. Terror keeps talking about how Ssak made this awesome come-back, how his engagements were so efficient, how he clawed himself back into the game with drops to throw the Zerg off, and calls his style "art". Ssak just keeps insisting that the game was essentially won at the beginning, that he was too far ahead to worry even when the mutas hit, and that overall he won easily.
Eventually he just tells Terror: "I think you didn't really understand this game." Terror doesn't know what to say, falls silent. Britney intervenes and says: "Okay, so between Terror's commenting and mine, whose do you think is more spot-on." Ssak: "No no, I think you're both equally wrong." Britney falls silent as well, while in the chat window the entire channel laughs at them. After a few seconds of silence you can hear Ssak on the phone: "... Hello?"

I'm not sure I agree with this. The two are entirely different type of commentators. Kim Carrier commands respect with his years-long passion and commitment, and his professional presentation. These two command... ridicule. I like both styles separately, but I have to wonder whether they'd go well together. The result would probably just be Terror turning it down a notch, because I can't see him swear at (or even in front of) Kim Carrier. (For all his teasing, he even addresses Pusan with respect, and Kim Carrier is older than Pusan. Don't underestimate how much that matters in Korea.)
Also, based on how Kim Carrier reacted to Terror's "dog" entrance back in the SSL9 ceremony, I'm not really sure he "gets" Terror and why viewers like him.

I respect your opinion. But the stats on often played maps show this: Circuit Breaker TvZ: 99-58 (63.1%) [ Games ] ZvP: 93-58 (61.6%) [ Games ] PvT: 78-96 (44.8%) [ Games ]
Fighting Spirit TvZ: 245-137 (64.1%) [ Games ] ZvP: 182-177 (50.7%) [ Games ] PvT: 187-216 (46.4%) [ Games ]
Match Point TvZ: 22-19 (53.7%) [ Games ] ZvP: 29-30 (49.2%) [ Games ] PvT: 30-22 (57.7%) [ Games ]
Neo Electric Circuit TvZ: 68-51 (57.1%) [ Games ] ZvP: 71-49 (59.2%) [ Games ] PvT: 70-62 (53%) [ Games ]
...
Maybe I am missing something but is there a single map where Zerg has the upper hand over Terran?
