Nice! First ZvZ of these LSL3 test matches

I think these guys just played each other the other day during a Fighting Spirit Bo3, which Killer won 2-1, so hope this one is tightly contested

Killer has the jaedong training and the better zvz mechanics but Zero is still quite good with his build orders. This will be interesting to watch.

Killer has been pretty dominate in ZvZ for sure. It's funny how Zero is just so damn well rounded. You'd never say he's a huge under dog in any match up.

Back, missed a lot of the action. Killer seems to be on the defensive - spores everywhere. Killer throwing down a sunken for good measure at his natural.

Zero harasses Killer's nat with lings.

Zero's nat is like a fortress, with evo sim city and 3 spores. o.o

Killer turns his mutas to Zero's nat but the number of spores means he can't sustain this.

Zero nets a lot of drones at Killer's main with his mutas before Killer's own mutas arrive back.

ZerO attempting a third at 6:00. Doesn't look like Killer is in a position to check it aaaaaaaaand he does with his zergling stack. Killer responds by scrambling his mutaas and 2 scourge. ZerO emerges victorious in the air battle, and Killer cuts his losses with a retreat. This could easily stampede out of control if Killer doesn't triumph in micro soon, it doesn't happen! Battle outside Killer's natural, and ZerO's force wins without micro, GG from Killer!. Map 1, Fighting Spirit, to ZerO.

Spire going up for ZerO. Staredown in ZerO's main. Both players have fast lings and ZerO chases Killer's lings all the way home! New sunken freshly completes, but ZerO engages killer's main regardless! Loses his ling numbers advantage and retreats as the first mutas pop from either side.

ZerO takes map control and kills an overlord at 1:00 center. Both players have a few scourge as well. Killer throws them all at ZerO and it doesn't do well. ZerO is confident that the two dead overlords will grant him enough of an advantage and retreats, killing a ling on the way. Killer sends another ling or two out to serve as a ward. Killer moves out! Attacks the natural with a muta scourge stack! That's plenty of scourge from both players!

Scourge fighting Scourge. Killer certainly ahead, but he reinforces slower! ZerO needs to drive him back now, but he keeps losing muta randomly to well-cloned scourge. He ggs with only 3 mutas left to ZerO's 9-10 as the battle moves over his main.

Right you are cerberus. ZerO's immediate response is to send lings to the center of the map. As killer is about to learn the build, he sees the mass ogf lings reach his matural. With the help of two drones and poor utilization by ZerO, Killer holds, and ZerO is forced back with a slgihtly inferior force!

creeep colony morphing outside ZerO's natural. Spire going up for both players. Complete! Neither player getting natural gas. ZerO's zerglings come out for one last fight, but Killer runs by with 6 lings and manages to snag a few drones as both players' first mutas pop from saved larvae. Killer snipes some r4andom lings. ZerO attacks with his lings, loses the fight at Killer's natural, but his mutas as a result get the jump on Killer's muta stack in the center of the map! Killer loses a few too many mutas before realizing this and ggs!

Both players have mutas now and they fight near the middle. Zero comes out ahead and buffer into GG

Slow zerglings just skitter around the map. ZerO shuts down mining at Killer's nat, but a single Killerling gets by and kills a drone before being chased off. Spire going up for both players. Killer moving out and withdrawing, ZerO sitting tight and walling with his ling force. Killer manually patrols his lings around.

ZerO's mutalisks move out and tormet the muta stack. ZerO has more scourge, but killer has more mutas. Killer's severely wounded mutas chase ZerO off once some scourge join them. Next engagement ZerO will have the advantage. This is bad for Killer! 11 mutas and 2 scourge versus Killer's smaller wounded stack. The battle will take place over Killer's natural! ZerO takes an overlord down to half before fully retreating to his own natural. The only unit on the field is Killer's Zergling at 12:00. Then he moves out! And damn, that's a lot of scourge.

Killer has many more scourge than muta. ZerO continues to build up behind his zergling wall. Tension is extreme. Two control groups of mutas, but Killer can still make up the difference with his scourge fleet.

Crunch didn't happen, Killer snipes some scourge as ZerO retreats to kill an overlord, then he engages outright! He comes out at a major disadvantage, but scourge even things up! 6 mutas to 2. ZerO dances around in his nat and micros through the scourge equalizer as his own scourge lay into Killer's destroyed muta stack. ZerO takes Odd-Eye and the series, 3-1!
