Stratos i just want to say i appreciate every thread you've made so far and that you're still active in the BW section of this site. It's much appreciated and i think you need to hear that. All creds to you my man.
The probe departs, finding the time to disrupt ZerO's first hatchery. Forge goes down for the FE wall, and here's the nexus as well. Injured Probe is chased by a drone and two zerglings across the entire map, before ZerO puts down a proxy hatch at 10:00!
Shuttle's gas completes at his main as the core is built. Shuttle gets another probe in to see the lair morphing. Still no ling speed. A Zealot exits the wall, then decides against it as Shuttle sees a large zerglings squadron moving towards the wall!
The wall of lings sits in place and waits. Stargate is up and flashing as ZerO's spire is halfway complete. The 10:00 has 4 drones at it, more morphing in. Citadel of Adun complete, with legs morphing!
New expansion going down at the 10:30. Two scourge hunt the corsair that scouts it.Legs haven't come just yet, Protoss have first weapon upgrade about to complete concurrently. Zealot legs complete! Muta/speedling torments the attacking force of speedlots, and forces it back to the wall!
Hydralisk den complete as part of ZerO's nat wall. ZerO's five mutalsisks try to run harassment, but are met by five corsairs! Cannons are warping in all over Shuttle's base to dissuade such harassment shenanigans. ZerO is upgrading Grooved Spines, and a large group of sairs, speedlots, and an archon raid ZerO's natural before the sunken chases it off!
The sunken of course had a large group of hydras protecting it. Hydra bust! The one cannon is dead, and a massive horde of more hydras is on the way! The first storm goes down on the hydras and exacts a massive toll, but there's just so little in the way of those 3 building canonons!. Dark templars punish the hydras, but it's going to be so close! The fresh zealots move in and thin the hydras, but the gateway and forge are hurt! New cannons warping in, one hand ata time, but are quickly shut down! Last defense is another horde of zealots and 4 HT! They unleash 2 storms as a warning! Another! But more hydras are here! That's gotta be it, and it is! gg from Yoonjoong, ZerO takes it!
Shuttle walls off his main from zergling attacks with a goddamn Forge. The scouting probe stalks the Drone trying to make ZerO's third, but is chased off on the way by a single Zergling. ZerO has seen the wall, behind which 1 gate core is warping in. Lair tech is coming now, ZerO wasting no time before he can attack the Protoss economy. Worked against Mind, lol.
Double hatchery wall at ZerO's third, scourge dispatched to deal with the first sairs.. Air attack is being upgraded at the core. Templar archives are complete, and a cannon warps in at Shuttle's natural.
Dark Templar are out. We have sair DT and absolutely no aggression from either player as ZerO's 4th morphs up at 11:00. The sairs cross and scout the 4th!
Replacement forge going up. Shuttle will move out when his forge stops spinning. ZerO has hydras on the field, and they take position outside the central bridges. The old Forge is destroyed and mass speedlot is let loose along with various templars. Mass hydra cross to Shuttle's 3rd choke, met with the Shuttle's entire force. ZerO appears only to have mass hydra.
DT trepasses and hits the 4th, followed by the hydras, then the sairs, then the rest of the force. ZerO focuses down the sairs, leaving only one alive! The hydras then manage to force all ZerO's units back, until they can reinforce at the bridges. Two lurkers join the battle. Shuttle's third is newly warping in!
Robotics Facility warping in now. ZerO's hydralurk is 1/0, and he's just built plenty of lurkers. Shuttle's zealots, of which there are many, are 1/0/0. They tyry to cross the bridge into ZerO's 4th, but ZerO has that spot under control, for certain.
Two sneaky lurkers harass the 3rd as ZerO's hydralurk pushes Shuttle all the way to his 3rd. New lurkers move in with lings to punish Shuttle at the bottom right corner of the map as lurkers die. That is a LOT of fresh goons, goddamn.
Mass goon blocks the rest of Shuttle's forces from crossing the bridge and is wiped out! Shuttle still can't mine at his 3rd due to lurker shutdown! ZerO is in control, but Shuttle's army is complete. He can still do some damage, and he attacks ZerO's fresh fifth with excellent and deadly storms. ZerO's defensive forces are wiped out! The recovery force, however, is successful and kills the whole P force dead. Shuttle FINALLY shuts down the lurkers at his 3rd. BIG DROP COMING IN.
Drop in the middle of ZerO's main, of mostly lurkers, backed up by hydraling. Shuttle hastily dispatches forces to clean it up and is successful. a large number of lurkers deploys between the 2nd and 3rd, delaying the drop defense forces from saving the 3rd! It's demolished! GG from Shuttle, it's all ZerO, all day!
ZerO spawns at 3:00, Shuttle at 9:00. Cross positions. Shuttle sees the scouting Probe with with his overlord and changes his lord's route to the 9:00 Looks like a 12 hatch from ZerO and a nexus first from Shuttle
ZerO's 3rd is at 6:00. Shuttle maynards his forces over with a 2 gate wall complete. Forge finishes up warping in at the back. Two zealots plug the holes in this wall as two zerglings attack the power generator to make a bigger hole in the wall. The Zerglings come in as the generator is in the red and don't accomplish too much. Zealots have moved out to demolish the 3rd, but 2 are here to block some economic damage. Fresh lings come to try and save the sunken at the third, and reinforcement lings are here to beat back the zealots!
The third holds with half health. Six new zealots are here to harass it, but they're surrounded by lings! ZerO holds out against another wave. Six new zealots are coming now! The pressure is working in that it's making ZerO train units, but ZerO has teched up to mutas and Shuttle doesn't even have one sair from his new Stargate yet!
Mutaling collides with the main. The cannons are all dead, and the zealots are cleaning up. The mutas go after the new sair and Shuttle's probes are all over the place! He's frantically microing for his life here. The mutas move to deal with the 4 zealots, but Shuttle has sustained major damage to his economy. The muta stack returns to torment it as the attacking zealots are cleaned up at ZerO's main by two sunkens and a bunch of zerglings.
Scourge chase of the corsairs while all the fresh cannons go down. Dragoons arrive to force them back. The main is under a lot more pressure than Shuttle's well-defended natural. Shuttle's corsairs are all dead! His dragoon as well! The photon cannons won't hold for much longer. ZerO attacks the forge now! Shtutle heavily teched, but the money is only flowing in from his natural at the bottom left. Mutas attacking the wall now! Scourge cruising in to dissuade attackers. ZerO puts up his 4th behind his 3rd, at 4:30.
ZerO has at least two control groups of mutas in a large group. He's going to destroy the natural with all Shuttle's tech! Masses of scourge chase off the corsairs and sit between the two bases. Shuttle is about to lose his nexus and the pylons around his base. Shuttle panickedly unleashes a storm and misses the single muta that was chasing the HT off. It's too bad, but Shuttle is only being kept alive by pride! Speedlots move to the 6:00 and LoveTV laughs at the EIGHT SUNKENS morphing in to greet him. The world is collapsing on Shuttle's destroyed base, but before anything new reaches him, he ggs. 3-0 to Myth.Ra over Eyewater[white], on FS, Bifrost 3, and Katrina. Well-played both!
Shuttle completely outplayed. Missed game 1, but game 2 was just sad, how he didn't deal with the lurkers at his 3rd. And last game, just 2 base muta into losing the main into gg. GG Zero, thought shuttle was better.
Game of the night is the match on Bifrost. All three games were atrociously one-sided, but at least that game was tipped one way by a single awful engagement at the bridges. Shuttle simply fell far behind from the very start on FS and Katrina.
Not going to live cast this one, but it looks to be a sponsored match. 0-0 on Fighting Spirit, Guemchi has 3 bases (including the center) to ZerO's 6. We've got reavers, scourge wiping out sairs, and pure ultras out to combat the complete Protoss ground army. Guemchi just took new bases and has four mining bases. Doom drop on the way to the new 5th at 12:00, lands, dark swarm on top of archons and ultraling happens! ZerO gets storm dropped, and his main is about to get wiped out. Two Dark Archons out for Guemchi to combat another doom drop on his main. Not accomplishing mu8ch. Dark swarm all over the center base, it is wiped out by ultraling alone.
Looks like I am livecasting this one! We've got a large force of Archon/Darchon/Goon Reaver trying to reclaim the center, but it's not that big and ZerO moves in from both sides with ultraling. Dark Templars are not enough under Dark Swarm and the ultralisks work as advertised. There is intermittent transmission lag between the players and perhaps spectator. Maelstrom goes down and allows Zealots to reinforce in time. More ultraling scrambles out toward's Guemchi, but he's got no money left! What's a Protoss to do?
ZerO puts down his own natural expansion. Guemchi's probe chases ZerO's drone and is chased about by two Zerglings. it goes down after a small delay. Nexus almost completely in, right after the wall gateway in the nat choke.
ZerO's third is far off, in the top left corner. ZerO wants to take advantage of his mobility advantage so he's putting his eggs in as far away from one another two baskets as possible. No aggression from either player as of yet, with two zealots mucking about. The forge spins, and the stargate flashes. The Templar Archives are under construction.
A Corsair is chased about by two scourge and killed. Three slow Zealots aggress, and are repelled by a sunken at ZerO's natural. They head straight up to the ZerO's third to see what they're dealing with, but without reaching it they return to the center of the map. Guemchi sends DTs out, seemingly to that 3rd of ZerO's! but he's got overlords and sunkens, what are they going to do? The DTs get two kills as Zerglings pile outside Guemchi's natural. Guemchi boots them out with his zealot mass.
Lairs up. ZerO puts down some pre-emptive defenses. and morphs in some scourge. Looks like shuttles have arrived to drop in some DTs. But ZerO has a muta stack on standby with some scourge to make this maneuver hard. Speedlots are nominal! DTs are stuck in ZerO's main with nothing to do and no HP!. Sairs preyt on slow overlords as the new Hydralisks take their positions outside ZerO's 3rd and natural. The DTs go down swinging against drones as Guemchi's 3rd nears completion at 4:00.
Archon sighted to support the zealot mass. Hydras are being massed on the hill, and they blunt the zealots. Seeing a larger force of zealots come in with the archon, they initially retreat, but head back in. A shuttle containing two HTs attempts to fly over ZerO's expo but the HTs are destroyed by scattered hydras! Guemchi in serious trobule! The attack of lag!
Guemchi has very little remaining! He puts down a 4th. 7 Goons join the battle but ZerO has so much more! An archon hits the muta stack mmuch to the relief of the sairs, which are then CHASED OFF by the mass of hydras. No storm! What's Guemchi planning to do? The Sairs fly directly over the hydra mass trying to get a hit on the mutas! Guemchi loses his 3rd, as well as the Observatory that was there.
ZerO continues to reinforce with the crippled sairs sitting on the wall. Guemchi's 4th has no probes yet. DTs attack the hydras but Guemchi's soul is crushed. Game over! ZerO takes match point from Guemchi! 2-0.
Uhhh, The first good game of the night seems to have been ZerO vs Guemchi Game 1 on Fighting Spirit - every base was taken at one point and Guemchi used dark archons pretty well before losing his breath. No thankfully not, but I now can't use their editor to operate with copyrighted vods (pretty much 100% of vods thanks to German policy), so I need to remove the songs first which in the better case takes hours of delays and in the worse just doesn't work at all.
There's more of us struggling to find the proper tool that would work flawlessly for splitting afreeca vods before uploading to youtube, we keep facing random sound issues. So if there's someone tech savvy interested in helping you can pm me.
Probably the least elegant solution would be to first convert the vids to flv and split them afterwards, as that's what youtube seems to be doing and it works.
And again I'm suprised people thought ZerO would lose. Sometimes I wonder if people actually pay attention to how players are doing.
ZerO has lost something like two or three PvZ's in his "televised" games so far, and at least one of those was to Bisu. Not to mention he has been winning nearly every PvZ on stream as well.
I sorta, kinda, get thinking ZerO would lose to Mind, as his ZvT has only been coming back into decent form the last month or so...but Shuttle?

well maybe if Shuttle would stop playing random UMS maps and flash games and start to hunker down on practice....
I will always remember Shuttle as the "I rike PvP lol" guy. more of a proleague threat than a well-rounded beast.
thanks for kind words but I'll try to drink coffee before next LR. I had to go back and edit so much due to mixing up the players or missing the keyboard row entirely, lol

the way I lr is to do many posts, little content per post. so 1 thing happens, thats a post, plus it feels like real time reporting
