Korean VODs can be accessed in the GOM Exp Android App. English VODs will be uploaded (I presume) to GOM EXP's YouTube channel on Wednesday (three days after the event).

Young(er) gosus vs the old guys, it was a beat down. Later games will be much better!
Both Hiya and Zero played real good though. I would say the hiya - yellow series is worth watching just for yellow + his smiles when knowing he just messed up something.
It's clear by the fact that GOMTV announced this so late and provided such shitty coverage and chose not to invest in english casters that they care this || much about this tournament. Its just totally unprofessional.

It's totally clear when checking out the vods through their korean app that the production is so damn good and the app is smooth and free.

It's just the foreign fans they totally ignore.
But it's not just foreign players. What about people who use IOS? What about non-mobile coverage? Why isn't this information up on their website for GOM eXP if this is supposed to signify the launch of their new brand?
Thanks man. And I gotta agree with the early youtube comments, I have no clue why the video quality is so poor. The videos were HD quality when I recorded them

apparently FBH left gomexp and got a job as bigfile's LoL coach. I wonder if it's going to be a duo cast or are they gonna find a replacement? or is FBH gonna still do gom classic?

They are moving all of gomTV to YouTube today. So I imagine they are quite busy. They even apologized after sending me the vods late. I had only one day to record them.
Getting the same error with both streams, i opened up the file and all it shows are two lines commented out and gomexpqt/gomexpqt_1500.m3u8. Is there suppose to be an actual stream?

The VLC streams here are the ones working (more or less) for me.

try "copy link addres" instead of downloading the file, then open the link directly in VLC, worked for me.

There were a ton of korean fans in the stands. I think most people are complaining because the games and the series were all very one sided and the highest caliber players weren't there. I think there will be another.

I think the most important question is whether or not there will be an official English stream or will we still have to rely on VLC.
Edit: Also if it's going to be invites again or will it have an actual qualifier...
Three things needs to change to gain my interest. Bigger tournament: Round of 8 forward feels like a special event. At least have round of 16 with group play, preferably round of 32. Proper players: You can't have YellOw in your tournament: it feels like a special event. Especially if you only have 8 players to begin with. Having one or two old school players is fine if you start from the round of 32. And most importantly, an official stream. Not having one just turns almost everyone off immediately.

I voiced this to GomTV last week. Hopefully we can get some changes.

Its for the viewership. YellOw is PRETTY huge in Korea by going to variety shows and reality tv shows. I think he also coach a pretty successful LoL team as well.

True, so just play YellOw for the ratings
Honestly if they want to improve the ratings, they should hype it w/ an actual brackets w/ qualifiers.
I feel like each season should have a certain amount of "build up" until the final for "charges". Those build up are such that have a large player pool, the final will have that much impact as these guys in there actually slayed many people to achieve that spot which really "proves" that they are the "best of the best". But GOM TV season 4 had 8 people, most of whom aren't even considered as a top player. Did they even invite Killer in it? How about Bisu? What about PianO? They should invite actual competent guys in order to compete at the highest level and to attract fans.
All in all, let's hope that they increase the player pool to have a higher standard of tournament like the original Gom Classics.
honestly what i thought about this gom classic was gom just capitalizing on yellow's growth in fame with his multiple tv show appearances and his elevation to celebrity status. they just wanted to ride on that fame yellow's been having and try to rake in the viewers. There is no way in hell they woulda done something like this before. It works too (did you see all those girls in the audience for yellow? and then like 5 ppl watching for the rest of the series lol)
It was dumb though they put a really terrible timeslot, a very inconvenient viewing option and a really really weird map pool.

Yeah that is the reason i asked if it was successful and if we can expect another season. I just didn't know if there was an audience after yellow was gone, but apparently not?
i honestly think there won't be a season 5 but I don't really know how GOM works or if their mobile app was a hit or something. it's a shame the production was good, the pregame/aftergame interviews were fun but the rest was really.. bad. daezang and fbh not that great at commentary either. i think im too spoiled from overdose of carry lsw
