Also i remember in the old days they were Bo9 all matchups, one "standard"(fighting spirit) map for the start, and 8 maps 4 chosen by each player, loser picks next map and matchup, ahh the good ole days.

That used to be the stakes, I managed to win the grudgematch for the dreaded SCV Icon though.

Grudge matches are supposed to be sacred, all this will lead to is a bunch of people whoring for attention to get there name on the OP, and " Ultimate bragging rights " , those are baby stipulations.....
Grudge matches are about the Hype, not about some random bullshit where people decide to dislike one another just for the extra attention, it takes away from the legitimacy of the term " Grudge Match ".
Maybe if someone wants a " Grudge Match " , they should make an actual youtube video explaining there reasoning behind challenging there opponent with some trash talk behind it, this is just meaningless and looks pathetic.

Back in the day we didnt make youtube videos, we made blog posts calling the other kid a worthless noob and then thrashed them into oblivion leaving them with some last scar of why they should never speak again.
