To be honest, looking at the players, I'm more excited about the results from this tournament than from SRT17. Gogo Sea/JangBi!
From what I heard, Jangbi has pulled out. He called Jaehoon to pass the message to Sea and the sponsors. Jangbi is having some issue at home. Anyway, wait for the confirmation on this.
So I was in the chat just now on Snipealot2 and a guy goes by the name of marshallsh posted some riveting tid-bits about the ex progamer Zergman hosting and casting a new league sponsored by 2 Afreecan donors.
Evidence:
zyphonsc: What do you mean "Zergman" league?
» He sponsors it?
marshallsh: casted by zergman
I, by no means have any Korean reading abilities but I do have the available bracket. So whoever are fluent in the language, feel free to translate the names into ID.

When does this happen? In around 7 hours SRT will be played....with Shuttle, who is also playing in group B of this tour. Looking at the time stated in the first post, SRT and BJS are at the same time. :/

it's just timing, if this league and SRT had its start timing switched, Jangbi would be playing in SRT instead of this league. Same probably goes for great
Can someone tell me what stream these games are being played on so I'll have an easier time finding the VODs later? I don't really have a computer so I'm trying to do as much as I can in as little time as possible when I do have access to one.
Great to see more Starcraft. I am struggling to watch all the games. Thanks for the work with the VODS KAG.
I know it doesn't matter at all and it's just great to see more tournaments and games but is this part of SOSPA? Do we work out the players ELO using games from this tournament as well?

Maybe the wiki name should be changed? In Korean they call it 예담퍼플-사랑은™ 배 스타BJ 리그 (Yedam Purple- Sarangeun Cup StarBJ League) or Yedam League for short.

I can move it. To Yedam League or Yedam Starleague?

I haven't really seen him play lately but could it by any chance be an outcome of practice with Bisu? ^^ Sonic said Larva helped in making Bisu join SOSPA + Bisu's first streamed games were when Larva talked him into it.

Match B Killer vs Hiya

oh boy, those are both legit semifinal matches
We went from an almost guaranteed Sea vs Killer finals to a guaranteed Sea vs Killer finals.
Sigh. I hope Jangbi returns to the Afreeca scene soon. As great players as Sea and Killer are, I don't want to keep watching the same two players in finals of tournaments. It gets boring after awhile.
I can't find any VODS past group C of the group stage. I take it they are not hanging around somewhere I haven't noticed. I have time on my hands and will happily watch through the games from this random competition if they exist.
Edit: Thank you KAG for uploading the videos you have. I really appreciate it. I Wish I could do something to help the community rather than just moaning there aren't any VOD's.

Uploading VODs to youtube from snipealot's channel is actually pretty easy and quick if you'd like to help. Just ask snipealot to give you a permission on his channel and you can upload anything from twitch's channel to the youtube automatically with a few clicks of a mouse.
In order to upload the games for this league would I have to look up the time the games where played find out which Snipelot account the game where broadcasted on then download the long clip it’s in. Cut that into the games and then re-upload the games on a Youtube account? Is that what KAG does? Or is it simpler than that?
I have time at the moment so would be prepared to help if I can.

It's simpler than that, I think. I haven't done it, but I'm pretty sure you just make a highlight on the twitch recording and there's a "upload to YouTube" button which does exactly that. So you don't have to download it locally, cut it, and then upload it manually to youtube.
I've sent a PM to Snipelot so we will see what he says. If its do able I'll try and find the games for this tournament. That will give me something vaguely useful to do with myself. Not sure how much interest there is from people elsewhere but at the very least I’ll get to see some games I haven’t yet seen.
The date and times of the games are all on the calendar so it shouldn’t be too hard to find the games. Famous last words.

Looks like you get the right idea. I tried looking into the archives for Ro16 Group D yesterday and I couldn't find anything. Just as I was about to give up I finally found a direct link to the VOD on TL - "I'M SORRY, THAT PAGE IS IN ANOTHER CASTLE!" (Twitch error msg) The other VODs might still be somewhere out there though.
For finding the VODs you generally want to open a VOD that's close to the time (15 days ago in this case) and find some player footage which includes the date and time from the launcher. Not all players use that. You will begin to appreciate those who do. It's a weird bias to develop but seriously fuck those who don't. From that you know if you want to go back/forward and how much. The Korean 오전 is AM and 오후 PM.

Also, it was really good.
It's probably not a glowing recommendation of my ability to be helpful but I managed to fall asleep watching that Killer Vs Hiya series. Two of my favourite players playing great games and I fall asleep. What/s wrong with me.
I have made videos of the finals and third place matches available on snipealot3 on twitch if anyone missed them. Just go to Snipealot3 and look for the highlights. They are immediately after (above) the SRT Finals so there’s some pretty good content on Snipealot3 right now.
I can't upload to YouTube for the same reason KAG hasn't been uploading for the last few days. It’s just not working at the moment.
