I suspect that much of this info is still very tentative (players, maps, schedule, format, etc etc), so keep an eye out for changes ;p
one thing to particularly note is a variation on the ODT Sonic style format (I dub it "Variation A"). The first two matches are now Bo3, and the Winners and Losers matches are instead Bo1. Final match remains as Bo3.

Also, wtf is this format. What was wrong with his original Bo1 -> Bo3 -> Bo3 format?

seriously how many games can you play on a single map ?! besides - there are other maps, pretty well balanced too, that are not used anymore ;( seriously with such an gigantic map number, it always blew my mind how stubborn and boring ppl can be in choosing maps to play..

It blows my mind how ignorant the average viewer is when they think unorthodox maps magically create good games. The truth is in fact the opposite. Typically, unorthodox maps create shitty games because players need to adjust to all the new features which causes their fundamentals to suffer. If you watch snipealot2 a lot you will see a ton of crazy, awesome plays made on Fighting Spirit all the time. In a cast recently, I gave the example of Sky using the trees on FS to provide a 50% miss chance that allowed him to win with 3 goons against 5. Just two days ago, I saw Hiya go 5rax/3port vs a protoss on that map. A standard map does not stifly creativity. If anything, it helps it by allowing a player to focus more on thinking about strategy and mindgames and less on fundamentals like building placement and army positioning.
Every time somebody posts in a tournament thread saying "get rid of FS", what it really says to me is "I don't actually play BW and hence have no idea what the fuck I'm talking about."

Not shitty games. Interesting games. FS map 80% of the games are.. the same. . Same everything. You know exacly where to attack where to move etc. etc. Over and over and oveeerrr aggaaaiiinnn... b.o.r.i.n.g. Oh c'mon u know what i mean.
New maps or dif maps not 100% perfekt like FS (but still 95% ballanced) create new posibilities and overal more interesting games to watch.

Get rid of FS!!
We got rid of Python (n LT) for the same reason people want FS removed.
To me Triathlon, for example, brought far more interesting games as a viewer than FS ever will.

A few updates:
- Ro16 Group D has been pushed back one day, to the 27th.
- Hiya and Pusan have switched spots. So in Group C, we have Movie vs Pusan (match 2), and in Group D we have Hiya vs Sea (match 2)
- Sonic has seemingly changed the map order, axing Neo Medusa and bringing in New Sniper Ridge and Andromeda. He has listed the map order as+ Show Spoiler +

3. Andromeda
4. FS
5. New Wind and Cloud
