I won't be our last custom map tournament.

I should clarify: The training versions are just a normal training versions, i.e. with non-randomized starting locations. Therefor they cannot be used for official games, though. To know your spawn, you just have to fill the right player slot, according to the info, p.e. if it says P1: 6, then you'll spawn at 6 o'clock when using the first slot. They also have observer slots and normal fog of war (though it may be a good idea to to change the latter in future releases).

Relax. As soon as this is over I am going to work on another map pack, you can still contribute.

Dammit wish I had time to participate so bad but I'm rarely on iccup fml...if there's anything you want me to help with freakling I can do it as long as it doesn't require being online at a certain time(sad life of an Asian highschooler)...I can write battle reports or something xD
If I read it correctly, Sunday 15 EST = Monday 9am NZST, and a bit earlier for Aus/pacific players. If possible, the OP should edit the post to mention it's Sunday USA time, which may not be Sunday in other time zones.
LOL I QUIT BW BUT I'm entering
ICCup ID: sB.Birdie Most well known/commonly used ID: sB.Birdie Race: Max Rank: D+
Would I be allowed to cast in addition to the main casters?

I'm probably going to play in this, but I'm waiting until the last day to sign up, just in case I can't. The purpose of this post is to show my interest in the tournament. =)

Lol Pucca! I don't stand a chance with these top dogs, but thank you for your support
On a side note: All these new maps look really impressive and I can't wait to try them. For Gemlong - I love the whole concept of the circular ramp arena style in the middle and in Hazard Black - the textile map color is calming on the eyes. Hopefully some of these new maps will be well received from the public and are inducted in future tournaments.

I didn't think there'd be so many signups so fast! The tournament is now 64 players and checkin extended to 45min

I know this may be a stupid question but just to clarify out of curiousity, but why is the check-in time a week before the tournament starts? What if someone checks in and then a week later can't play because something pops up?

Hey thought this might be useful to you participants BWMN Mappack If any of you haven't found this yet, it's the original thread releasing the mappack before this tourney was organized, it contains some basic info about each map i.e. scouting paths, travel time, suggestions for walling, and some useful knowledge about map features...I'm currently working on making some Liquipedia pages for the maps if you like LP more but FYI gonna reference the knowledge in that thread...

This starts tomorrow?
Yes Check-in takes place on November 25th from 20:00 GMT (+00:00) to 20:45 GMT (+00:00). Tournament starts the following week (December 2nd).
Edit: Don' t forget to check-in yall! (Check-in is mandatory).

I almost forgot about it already ^^
pm 60 people lol? I dont think we'll get 64 anyway so we'll probably go back to 32. We'll see how many people check in.

yeah, maybe it's not that viable to message them all ^^
it's just sad if someone doesn't check-in because he forgot. Maybe add a 2nd check-in day too? Those who check-in on first day gets a guaranteed spot in tournament though

I purposely made the checkin at the same time and day as the matches, but 1 week prior, to see who can actually make the scheduled time. So if they forget to checkin then i wouldn't expect them to remember to show up for the matches either.
Ahh Okee i wasn' t sure in fact if the check in was mandatory; p.s. I' ll be checking in the Terran channel (terran more manly and me TvP). I fear that some people will forget to check-in, but if its going to be 32 players instead of 64 it should work out. Maybe a good idea would have been to have a friendly showmatch beetwen 2 of the top players who signed-up with the new maps. It is kinda late to organize but maybe someone is interested? Also i have a question: how are groups going to be sorted?
I won't be able to make the check-in on time(or maybe) ,but just in case, can you check me in ,in advance through forums, because I will be busy at 12 PM PST

After getting absolutely demolished in WR1, I'm going to drop from the tournament. My sincerest apologies to the tournament organizers for any difficulty I may cause-- but I am just embarrassing myself playing BW :-)
