Shinhwa[Name] and Mingu first to get qualified winning against Darkelf and Foru respectively.

Shinhwa won his group yesterday too, so he has a shot at both leagues.

Thank god TheMarine[Name] won against Hoony TheMarine[Name] is the same player as Casy[Name] who qualified yesterday as well.

PJ down 0-1

Bisu lost against Frozean[Name] who is now up against Xellos in the final.

PJ lost 0-2 ;(

Mumyung lost to free[gm](protoss same one who eliminated Casy yesterday) weee!

Xellos, Saint[Z-Zone](won Silent_control in semi then KT.MGW)Hyuk in final), Siva, Silver(won Canata in final), and Shark(won Oasis in final) qualified.

Saint[z-zone] and Shark[gm] also won their MSL qual groups yesterday. Zerg heaven.

MU results after first 10 groups: 11-4 ZvP 12-10 TvZ 10-6 PvT

Q组
FreeDom.WeRRa

o shit he really went SC.

edit: in case none of you know who he is, he's a former wc3 player from the Khan team who retired several months ago from wc3 to switch to SC.

I believe he cited enormous pressure to succeed from aroudn him as the reason he decided to retire. The expectations for this guy skyrocketed when he defeated Spirit.Moon in TV leagues (MBC, MWL?)

GL to him. He always sported a 400+ apm, so he's qualified at least in terms of speed to play SC at the highest level.

No, he was upset about the rigged maps I think.. And uh, war3 being relatively unpopular, compared to starcraft, in korea (not sure if this was one of the reasons).

wait, if you mean the rigged map scandals, I dont think he was the one involved in it was he? I know Star.werra retired almost immediately after the blue rose map scandal with the ghoul frenzy bug.

And there was a NE vs O issue where O units were buffed on the map. Let me search for who that was. 90% sure it wasnt freedom.... (shit that's like asking to be wrong -__-)

edit: FUKKKK you're right FA.

from the MIL thread.
post by ICE_MY

2) Freedom.WeRRa vs ReX.Romeo

- Freedom.WeRRa lost his semi final match to ReX.Romeo

- After that game, Dayfly and Moon decided to study the VODs when both of them noticed that Orc seemed exceptionally strong

- Suspecting something amiss Dayfly decided to get hold of the map and got his friend who was a programmer (READ: P-R-O-G-R-A-M-M-E-R) to unravel the code

- They found out that the maps had been intentionally programed to help Orc have an unfair advantage over Night Elf

- Dayfly went public with his findings and an investigation was launched, turns out that the map-maker did it "on purpose without knowledge of MBC Game". The reason was that "he felt a Night Elf vs Night Elf finals would be boring" (the winner of this match was supposed to face Moon)

- Mapmaker admits his mistake and is fired from MBC.

New results:

Shinhwa[Name] > Mingu 2-1 ZvZ Shinhwa seems really good ZvZ, surprised he even lost one.

Siva > Fantastic_Namoo(The toss who knocked out PJ and Oversky) 2-0 Not surprising really.

TheMarine[Name] > Shark[gm] 2-0 This TheMarine/Casy[Name] guy seems really good.

Silver > saint[z-zone] 2-0 Silver is pretty good ZvZ.

Xellos > Free[gm] 2-0 Yay! Too bad for Free though, afterall he did knock out Mummy for us

There are 20 groups. Right now they are only playing 10 groups out of the 20 (Group A ~ I) Later they will do the other 10.

Ok well they have to pick out 10 players from all of these players (144) to get into the new starleague, so what they do after 20 people win their groups, they will all play each other (A vs B, C vs D, and so on) and the winner of THAT, can advance to the starleague.

Didn't they expand the OSL to only 24 players? That would mean that there will be only 8 new spots.

On sc.replays.net you can also that Boxer and Anytime are missing in the remaining groups. I didn't check it, but I think all gamers from ODL 2R who got 3rd in their group (Like sync and goodfriend) are missing.

So basically we've got 20+8 players after these groups. But how will they choose 8 of them? Does anyone know how this really works?

Child Anytime GoodFriend Sync Boxer and Cloud will be added in a dual league with 10 other players from this prelim. Then those 16 play and Top 8 advance. Current 16 qualified for OSL + Those 8 = 24. At least I think it's that way. Might be wrong though =]

Honestly if Bat.Super wasn't so god damn ugly i think SKT1 would have signed him. He fucking schooled Siva when they played.
You all shouldn't be surprised that Chrh lost really.

Thank you. My fault was that I thougt that there were 8 2R-Dual-Rounds. But as there are only 6 it's clear.

Just one more thing: It's fucking ridiculous how OGN is trying to force Boxer a spot in the next OSL. They are giving him a fifty-fifty change right now. Probably Boxer will be even allowed to choose one of the other 15 players, because he's one of top 4 of those 16 in the current kespa rankings (just an idea, better I don't say it too loud, otherwise the OGN will really adopt this).

Why didn't they just give him an auto-qualification?
