Man this would've given me(and possibly many others)to play and practice again in the few weeks of summer break that's left  Isn't that part of what ur trying to achieve tho to be a part of keeping this game alive? I still haven't switched to sc2 yet becuz I really really like BW(havent played not one game of sc2 + read my quote even tho it's outdated now T_T)..and tourneys like these makes me wanna play again but u set that skill requirement edit: can i play with my offrace or something at least cuz I can honestly say I meet the skill requirements then. | ||

This is kind of a pointless cut off. And Rush is in the C ranks. He was shown to be beatable in every aspect as was Wands even though he's hit B- and beaten players like Alfio. | ||

This means you will have to pick which match-ups you think will be good for you during the tournament stage beforehand, so keep this in mind please. I appreciate your thoughts and concerns. Our sponsor was clear about wanting to host a tournament for C-/C/C+ rank players though. For players like yourself and LML, there are higher-level leagues where you can play - such as the defiler tours, which come around every 2 weeks or so. There is still plenty of reason to practice and continue to enjoy StarCraft, including the competitive aspects of the game. As for our counter-abuse methods, I say how we are going to be monitoring potential cheaters, but I can give my assurances that this tournament will be run responsibly and fairly. Thanks for your comment, and I hope you can continue to enjoy StarCraft: BroodWar despite unfortunately not being eligible for this tournament. | ||

I'm going to ask that you take up any further concerns or disagreements into private messages and not derail this thread, because the rules aren't going to change, regardless of whether or not you agree with them. | ||

Though I think it should be: First place:  Second place:  Third place:  Anyway in tournament formats, second place is also the only place/medalist to lose before getting the award hehe. I mean that much is obvious but I've always thought that was sort of interesting. Go out and give us some good games y'all (especially toss. gogo)! | ||
