Fantasy has always been good at cheesing/funkie builds, but never at defending against cheeses. Flash is the polar opposite: Extremely mechanically strong and always blocking cheeses. He lost 3 times in a row to protoss iirc. That means he probably practiced his ass off to kick protoss ass. Lose to Kwanro twice? Go on a 90-something percent win rate against zergs. | ||

He's super-reliant on prepared builds and scenarios. But every player has weaknesses: fantasy was still viewed as at least a slight favorite coming in. Props to Jangbi for working out how to take advantage of fantasy's problems, but don't sell fantasy short: fantasy's prepared builds are second to none when they work: fantasy in control of a game is incredibly hard to come back against. | ||
