Sea keeps playing passively lately, even when he has a great advantage. See the last game he played, it was against some terran had +50 supply then just turtled until they were both maxed.

Jaedong actually could have held that, he should have pulled back sooner and not kept following him off creep. Should have stayed near his third and attacked when force dotherwise building up roach/ling and eventually he would kill it.

That's what I meant, he was doing fine at the beginning but then overcommitted and simply didn't let his 3 base snowball enough.

he had the units to hold, he just fucked up the control a bit (mainly fighting off creep and up that ramp)
its over. jd smashed bogus. he had just enough to kill bogus's army efficiently, and enough to get in the production line. really impressed by that kill move. i was kinda scared for a second when bogus's army was rolling in.
Hahaha that was awesome, really interesting how he used his infestors + a group of lings to delay the attack while he used his whole army to counter the natural and third.
I'm happy for jaedong, but seeing this happen so often in ZvT nowadays makes me sad, terran moves out, zerg counter attacks, nobody does anything even slightly worthy of note, terran's base effectively vanishes before they reach the zerg base, g g, meh.

I called it wrong too when casting. Usually zerg holds this push with 3 hatch roach/ling easily, but his roach speed was late and he engaged poorly with too few units off creep right near the reinforcement pylon.
Never thought I would ever see T8 2nd place on the rankings! Awww yeah! Hahaha what a glorious ceremony by JD. Too bad he didn't win his game against Dear.

It is right. Liquipedia is counting by Broodwar/SC2 series. But KeSPA is counting by maps won, which afaik is what KeSPA will use as tiebreakers. So that's why it is displayed there.

It makes my heart flutter that JD was able to still become the team's ace during the transition unlike teams who sends out random dudes like trap and by.sun rofl.
Edit: That JD's smile might just've convinced me to watch the PL seasons after this one. The game might not be as exciting, but these players that I've known and loved for years might at least make it FUN watching.
