Hm, guess not. Just didn't want a gas steal from Stats. Mining with only 1 SCV so a bit earlier of a factory than usual. CC is now down for Fanta, nexus half way for Stats. Attempted poke in with zealot, marines deny it.

looks like close expansion pays off and won't be pressured too early, as fantasy got a third cc built and went to all the other bases with speed vultures + mines
Stats comes in with the reaver harass. kills a shuttle. denies mining in the main. loses a zealot though. drops in natural BIG scarab shot kills a few scvs. Stats takes 4th, has a TON of zealots out. Fantasy beginning slow push to Stat's 3rd but he has like no vultures. oh there they are. arb tech is done, arbiter on the way. stats being shelled at the third, probs gonna lose it. Fantasy kills 4th of Stats. Stats on 2 bases. Fantasy also trying to take 6oclock. Stats trying to deny it. Fantasy looks rreally strong right now. Have no idea where those zealots went.

Edit: They then switched to Fantasy, and I didn't get all of it, but finally the commentators insist: "Well, he said to give him a call if you need help. Do you?", to which (I think) Fantasy finally replies: "Yes". If I'm wrong, somebody please correct me.

watch seed vs symbol from GSL ro8 for a good example of this, symbol pulled out the unusual and outdated style to counter the early 2-3 colo timings people use vs infestors and won some against seed, then seed just got a larger army the next game and crushed him.

I don't usually watch PL anymore, but I thought I should make an exception for game 1, since it features one of the 2 finalists, playing the MU of the finals. Good to see Fantasy is in shape at least, but that was such mediocre play by Stats. It's no wonder the LR threads now get 10 pages instead of 200.

I clicked on the first one and stared at it a good 5 seconds... then laughed so hard it hurt.
Personally, I think most of the ones people come up with try too hard and just aren't funny at all, but if they are funny, and the Koreans want to print them out at a proleague match, I think it's awesome.
