Then somebody will come in from outside saying "Guys, Sziky has arrived, come say hello!". We all rush outside and everyone's clustered around the door like probes at a wallin, but Sziky's nowhere in sight... So a few people drill back to their PCs, whilst a few stay out there in case he arrives. Suddenly, he dashes round the corner with Sziky speed upgraded, and though the people at the door are trying to block his way to shake his hand etc, he's in, and he's beating everyone else in there at once. By the time the outsiders make it back in, those who were holding the fort back home are defeated, and Sziky only has to mop up the survivors before GG-ing the tournament in record time. Sziky LAN runby incoming. he gonna be covered in lube so he can get through anything

Like I said, Qualifications I set are likely to change pending on sign ups. If I understand it correctly, people can organise their own qualifiers right? So people could organise seperate CA / SA qualifiers while the point system remains shared. That would be a solution no? Also is there any deadline for announcing community-organised qualifiers? Let's say someone runs 5 Swedish qualifiers and Player A is well ahead in points and thinks he's qualified. Then last minute someone else organises 5 more qualifiers and people overtake him last minute.

Let's say someone runs 5 Swedish qualifiers and Player A is well ahead in points and thinks he's qualified. Then last minute someone else organises 5 more qualifiers and people overtake him last minute. Qualifiers need to be approved by the league, that being said, I can justify the Swedish example with the Canada/South America one. It is possible to have Canada/South America separate qualifiers with the points being merged as long as there are the same amount of qualifiers for each so that neither gets a point advantage. There would ultimately have to be a unified tournament at the end between top point getters though. Also, given that people need admin approval, you can't exclude top players from your event and have it pass. If a player decides he's so far ahead he doesn't have to attend stuff, then it's his problem if he loses. i.e. Someone decides to request approval for 10 Hungarian qualifiers, none of them contain Sziky, FleSs or Ace, likely they'll be denied.

A own site (other than TL.net), more informations about the details (Qualifiers, locations, why is a LAN called Winter when it's hosted in April?), explanations who you are and why anybody should trust you with this kind of information, a registered company... Also, do some research if your demands are not actually violating national law - which btw might be a real problem if you plan to have "semi official" or "official" kind of offline qualifiers per country. Another thought I had: don't you need some permission by Blizzard to host events like that? Also, you have like almost a year left to plan, get people to help you and so on. This just seems like a rash idea coming from somewhere, as cool as it sounds. But you need to realize that any participant also would have to do a lot just to attend: get vacations, enough money and a place to stay, as long as giving up a lot of his privacy rights, all based on the assupmtion this would happen in exchange for nothing if it did not happen at all. Depending on what country your coming from, what you do for a living and so on this is really a huge commitment.
