6pool as a ZvP opening isn't as all-in as a 4pool in BW. It won't kill Stats unless Stats is retarded, but it'll force Stats to go to one base, so Hyvaa can expand behind it and get ahead Damn it, what was Stat's face that Sayle freaked about? I missed it  | ||

I've never seen a 4gate response, so I'm not sure. 6pool was a standard ZvP SC2 opening for a few months, and kind of fell out of favor. It's really awkward for Stats to 4gate in response, though. I don't think the timings work out. | ||

It seems like SPL players are trying to port BW into SC2 as much as possible. It's kind of interesting to watch. I enjoy the experimentation. You can't have 5 bases in a time in SC2, though (4, with optimal saturation, is best). But he can abandon one and use the other if he has too. Stephano does this a lot, just building shittons of bases with like 5 drones each. | ||
