He was well prepared, but his play in itself was -_- I mostly agree with this. Jaedong in his top form would have managed to pull off victories in both games. Game 4: Zero clearly had enough hydras to take take out Jangbi's army in the final battle. Instead, his micro was bad enough to lose all the hydras to storm on low ground. On the other hand, Jangbi's micro, while not as good as BeSt's was enough to defeat a layabout Zero. Game 5: Sloppy Zero. You just do not lose 17 drones to one DT when you already have an overlord and lings nearby. Zero's decline in play reminds me of how SaviOr fell into that final unrecoverable slump.

Zero is definitely a top player. he beat bisu when bisu was near invincible using the turtle zerg style he displayed in game 5.

Jaedong in his prime also lost many games to Bisu and Stork, thats a moot point. Stop downplaying it, there is no comeback without opponent mistake. And only top players were capable of seizing them. OSL and epic series are also about mental fortitude and JangBi proved to be one of the best fighters in this area. And zero got manhandled by lategame JangBi in game 5. Outmultitasked and outmacroed plain and simple. We can say IF that was jaedong from time machine, but the fact it was not.

Not just the micro. He threw away his lurker contain to kill some probes when he was already ahead.

As a zerg player I need to get something off my chest though. I hate to take anything away from Jangbi since he's a great player and definitely deserves his spot in the finals, but Zero played like an ASS in game 5. Yeah, his play was really depressing and tilting to watch. (although it's better than seeing him 3-0'd in the finals anyways)

but when i watch games 4+5 i get really suspicious about Zero's loss... I mean, wtf is happening there? Instead of containing jangbi he takes back his hydras, and throws lurks+hyds into battle like he has 200/200 o_O im really glad for jangbi, i luv him, but i cant understand what has happened there...

Game 4: Shit micro. Game 5: Shit play. Look at the part where he loses near 50 supply to a handful of cannons and two reavers, w/o even damaging the economy. Don't forget losing 2 bases of mining time to 1 DT per base when OL and lings are nearby.

While Jangbi Was very behind economically, I'm not sure the outcome of the last attack was SO surprising.
