Their zerg, protoss, and terran (well mainly leta) are all solid. you don't have things like skt zerg or kt zerg (kt zerg are clutch playoffs, lose in the season). Samsung is all protoss, team 8 is wonky, ace is awesome but you'll be a sad fan.Woongjin doesn't have a great terran, and stx got revived this season with new talent (last, dear).
I come from Sc2 too, and I started watching proloeague late in last season. I made KT my team due to their zerg line playoff performance

this might be a good idea, i am to new to BW to have a favorite player without being a mad bisu/dong/flash fan boy seeing how these are the names that get tossed around in sc2

I support KT for the sole fact my phone and tv contract is KT........
As all the teams are in Seoul I can't chose the local team...therefore go with one which is relevant to me
