We all know our first contender very well. None other than the Hungarian monster sas.Sziky is going up against one of Korean finest young talents. Sziky made had his first major appearance back in the third ESL Major Series 2008 where he beat Mondragon. Ever since he grew even stronger, now holds more than ten titles at defiler.ru, won everything there is left and rules the foreign scene with an iron fist.
The other player will be the Korean Terran iOps]..Han. With more than 1500 points in the public FISH Ladder this player must not be underestimated. We all know too well how strong Koreans are. Time to prove we still have worthy contestants!

by reps)Defi I wanna keep BW live. It's always nice to watch top non-koreans playing vs good koreans and also it gives us some more chances to get koreans for foreign scene (i mean involving them in some showmatches and start streaming for foreigners).
It's great that new events like these are coming up, I always love seeing Sziky play. I do however have a suggestion to make which would improve the impact which this showmatch would make on the community. That is, the cast, no offense to Draw and SNM, but you should use some people more recognized for casting, also there should probably be a Russian cast.

I contacted Sayle, Hacklebeast and said they are all busy. We already talked about russian casters and Defi said he's going to ask Pro7ect to cast replays in russian.

I have watched both him and Draw's casts. Draw comments more on strategic play and focuses on the overall pictures and provides more insightful details, not to mention Draw pays alot more attention to the minimap and catches very suttle things. Not saying SNM sucks, but I think it would be more appropriate to have people that can give accurate comments on the overall game play in a high level show match such as this.
Edit: I know some people think Draw is a boring caster, but I think it is much better to watch a caster who is boring but catches all the action and provides great game analysis rather than those who sound interesting but misses half of the drops in TvZ and pays little attention to the bigger pictures (i.e. checking the level of zerg's tech, buildings, upgrades and commenting about decision making).

His Korean casting is better than his english, though this is pretty obvious given his first language is Korean and he has a Korean accent.

draw just need a co-caster like sayle l_master or hackle. they fun but sux about strat and minimap
If Sziky beat this Terran guy, hopefully other foreigners follows suit. We'll have to show that the BW international scene is still relevant and nothing to scorn about.
Sziky showmatch, hopefully every1 watches... I picked to cocast with SNM because I think that he will be able to keep things hyped, and he can translate/read the korean chat as well which is going to be insightful as to what the koreans think. Anyway, hopefully everything goes well and if there is another show match we will have an even better cast

UPDATES 1. I asked Pholon to change the title. 2. About the casting, due to the lags between Sziky and Han, we don't know if it'll be casted live or replays. I'll confirm this as soon as possible. 3. OP a bit edited.

Weird about Hiya... but it makes sense to contact players of the right skill level. We want epic matches!
Is the showmatch being advertised on Korean forums as well? A stream done with korean commentary and a stream with english commentary, being broadcast to TL and Fish communities, would be super cool.

I'm friends with `iops]..ssun and he said he didn't even know about it.
The koreans sort of don't advertise these events, they will just watch it live if there's an afreeca BJ streamer else go on not knowing about it this is more for TL.net viewers who just want to see a foreigner vs korean showmatch.
Now, I have a problem. I was lying on my bed for couple of hours yet I couldn't fall asleep last night (for some reason) and now I'm finally starting to get sleepy, but I have the cast coming up. If I cast though, I'll probably sleep through the review session and other things that I have planned to do with other people tonight. I guess I'll talk to DraW about it.
(I have few days where I just can't fall asleep and rest well. seems like today is that day >_>)

I am here and they don't want me to do a live cast anymore since I have icc-cl in 1 hour, and they will give me all the replays after. `Iops is one of the better teams on Fish. Many of their players are 1700+ So Han has great practice partners.
