I pretty much quit liquibet after this. How can ANY pro toss lose to Boxer 3 games in a row? Granted 4 of the 5 maps they played on were heavily terran-favored but still...

While watching the game I got the sick feeling that his macro is even worse than before but his TvP micro has improved. I know it should not be humanly possible, but it is - ..

I don't know if his macro is worse than before but yeah, he's still definitely micro/timing oriented, which is not something common at all in (top) professional TvP. He's one of the only players attempting offensive moves before having a giant upgraded mech army. He just pushes whenever he thinks he should be in a good position to do so. Add the close-to-perfect micro and insane defense skills and you get a clearly distinctive playstyle. ; )

boxer's tvp still being timing oriented to such a large extent is one of the most important factors to his tvp success, probably simply because protoss players are less experienced playing against it than playing against the more modern straight up "harass a bit, macro a lot, then move out and roll over" tvp style.
