I think these tours will skew the results of the ladder because there could be the chance that someone is not able to play in tournaments thus they lose out on points and people who get lucky in 1-2 games can gain a massive amount of points. It kinda defeats the purpose of a ladder segment if your going to constantly have tournaments.

They are meant for people that can't find games to find games. You would be playing them regardless, this is just an organized way of doing it. There's no real difference LOL We're still keeping track of how many games a single person has played another single person. I don't really get at all how you come to this conclusion that they will skew the results

For people not finding games? Isn't Chocolate in the channel all the time but not playing?
I also think these tournaments distort the ladder. I checked the brackets, it's basically free points.

if thats true it wouldnt matter

If the tournaments are not giving extra points then there is no real problem but if they are, then its not fair to those people who are in different time zones and can not play in them. This is a ladder segment. The top 28 from ladder should be attained by those who work hard for it by playing games.

OK, a couple things:

FIRST! Go read the second post! Updated top 10 and a super awesome interview with Chocolate!!!

SECOND! The little minitours in no way effect the ladder lol I'm surprised at the amount of thinking people are doing(Obviously not very much :S) You don't receive points from anything but the person you take them from. Therefore, it's just as you were playing a ladder game. So Yaqoob, WhuazGoodJaggah, S2Glow, and Mewka, these tours you guys are missing out on are just normal, organized ladder games. Yeesh....

THIRD! I will continue to do them at less often, but better times for people. If no one tells me a good time for them, I'll just do them when I feel like it and you will again miss out on them. Please feel free to give me a time.

Oh cool fact: ASL.Lumire, ASL-HeiHachi, and ASL-Hardi never once participated in one of the mini tours! ;D (They are all C-)
