So, hi. I play SC2 primarily but as I saw a ton of tweets and no sc2 streamers I decided to check out the BW stream (again) and it's kinda interesting tbh.

It seems like mutas matter a lot in BW ZvZ? Is there no way to transition out of it when your opponent takes over, or? Do you need to rely on scourges just splatting his muta ball?

Im not an expert by any means, but primarily mutas rule zvz because of dmg system, they rape hydras and hydras do very little dmg. So in fact a hydra based zvz in professional zvz is once in a 10 year occurance.

Sometimes people transition out of it and go into "hive tech" zvz with hydra/ling/lurker defiler etc, but im not sure what are the reasons to favor switch because sometimes people just go for more mutas into hive tech (like jaedong vs yellow for example).

They were defilers and Devourers too (-which is the most common transition).
ZvZ is bw strangest match up, but I've grown very fond of him over the years. It's all about on the spot decision making and micro (which is hard to judge without experience, especially those muta vs muta battles).

CJ has to be the most disappointing team in the PL. And ! at the end for Effort and Hydra continuously getting owned in ZvZs.

Oh well, I hope Khan players have been practicing their PvZs. Because that's probably the key matchup for next round against Crazy-Hydra, Action, and Hoejja.

Well, looks like KT wins this. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, you cheesed hard and successfully took advantage of the sheer volume of mediocrity of CJ today, and that brought you victory.
Cheese on in your next set!

I can put my faith in twin cannons all day, the question is if Roro will be able to produce awesome games, and Turn /reality will turn (lolol) into beasts for Playoffs.

Sigh, a 4-0 blowout. I really didn't expect CJ to win, but i had hoped that they would put up a fight. I wanted more games :3

At least Flash' game was really exciting

muta mobility is also important.

in sc2, muta are hampered by the fact that a) hydras on creep are FAST and b) hydra ground-to-air DPS is very high. in sc1, hydras are slow and their damage to small units is paltry. thus, mutas can dance around and harass very effectively in sc1, while hydras are... not that strong.

Well, Cj couldn't put their shit together and displayed some weak games.

Effort losing to Action, in ZvZ, that is just lol
Leta losing to Hoejja, Hoejja played his best.
Horang losing to Flash, letting Flash scout him twice! (D level play)
Hydra losing to CH, the best ZvZer once.

CJ losing to KT. If you ask me? I was confident in KT. But cheered for CJ.
