they stopped making Ultras off of 4gas because they realized it really sucks vs good Protosses lol

you don't see Ultras until like 5-6 bases or so in progames .. unless its like ggaemo or someone unconventional lol

It's also because on a lot of maps, you can't really get a 5th gas until mad late (aztec/circuit etc) unless something happens like a Protoss suicide (ie see bisu vs zero on aztec when bisu suicided archon/zealot into lurker swarm which let zero finally get 5th gas) so Zerg conserves resources. Hydra/lurk/defiler/ling is way better against archon/reaver anyways (esp since P's don't feedback defilers so all their shit gets plagued over and over again) so it's even more reason to not make ultras at that point.

The most ridiculous part was when Jaedong specifically sent those drones to mine out the minerals at the bottom of the main, and they were RIGHT NEXT TO THE ARMY.... and he still didn't see the block. Aaaaahhahahaa.

- jaehoon looks to have legitimately picked up his game, not a fluke
- baby doesn't seem to be slumping
- we won

sea's game was a little disappointing but light and soulkey are not bad losses.

In all honesty for entertainment value Jaedong's mistake made the game much more interesting than it should have been. After flying's dts and elevator drops didn't do much economic damage and JD denying the third 3 times flying was behind. If JD had those units at his ramp attacking flying the game would have ended much sooner and much less dramatically.

I think the biggest humiliation for JD wasn't the self-blocked army, but the way he couldn't handle the early harass by Flying. A better protoss wouldn't let JD outmacro from there; Flying just didn't know how to win.

JD should have caught onto that ramp block much faster, but given the pressure applied on him, I can certainly see him failing to notice the build-up; but on the other hand, that build up gave him the unit count to force Flying to a defensive stance; it was both a fail and a win for him.
