If it takes Last this long to put Mind away, I doubt his fearsome 55ish% TvT would be a problem for flash. Flash is favoured over everyone on STX by a significant margin.
Last has already stated that he prefers a style of play where he starves his opponent. Him playing drawn out games is his style and he's playing to his strength.
I don't agree he's Flash level yet, though, but we haven't seen a long set between them so... I also feel all that matters is recent statistics and right now, from this season Last is 2-0 against pretty damn decent Terrans. Even if people say Mind is slumping right now. He's 7-3 this year, playing only one set against Flash and losing.
Against, not saying I agree with his own assessment of himself from his interview, but I don't like conversations that don't understand where the other side is coming from.

this guy isn't serious. in the last stx match he started randomly insulting baby out of nowhere. for some reason he's got a huge boner for last and insists on deflating other players to make last better in comparison
nobody denies last has played well. not so much in this game we just watched, but definitely against fantasy
I've never even heard of Last before last week; I had only restarted watching SPL this season. I was never a fan of Baby, true, I feel he has a cocky attitude that needs discipline. I already stated I don't like one-sided arguments. Also, ad-hominem much?
He's just trying to explain why someone would ever prefer an STX Terran to Flash. Informal fallacies basically always have a logically sound analog. Not every statement about someone is an ad hominem.
For instance, you might characterize this as a tu quoque fallacy, but to me it's a simple exposure of hypocrisy: you accused twist of ad hominem while you say things in a similar vein multiple times about Baby.
He tried to discredit my argument because apparently I have a boner for Baby, isn't that what ad hominem is? I'm being sincere here as I really might be misusing the term. I never discredited anything about Baby, I have nothing to take away from him. In the last thread, I was concerned , in exaggerated hyped-up passion, with why people were perfectly okay with Baby taking the time to make 25+ starports as an in-game ceremony when, to my non-progamer eye, he too could have had finished the game much sooner, but people hate on Last for "taking a long time".
I already stated I don't prefer an either Bogus or Last to Flash. That doesn't mean the view is completely unjustified or unreasonable as the original poster in this long quote/reply session stated.

CH: I was the "ZvZ specialist" back in Woongjin. Having transferred to KT, I felt pressured to do well in all three matchups. However, the head coach (Jihoon Lee) told me that his biggest expectations was in my ZvZ - so I felt determined to do well in ZvZ no matter what. To be honest, I was a little disappointed because I wanted to play against other races. I don't believe that my skills in terms of other matchups have been tested, and I want to see where I stand against other players.
