Yes he was. It's just that at the later stages of the game, turnover rates at the highest have increased, so people like you pretend not to recognise him. He never won a lot of titles in a short time frame and was never regarded by the community at large as a clearly distant #1 the same way other players were. He was to Jaedong fans, sure, but Flash was to everyone. You really should revise your BW timeline... you're simply wrong. There's no ifs ands or buts about it. On the other hand, infested CC lol! Okay, whatever. Jaedong wasn't Savior or Flash level at any point in his career and if you disagree then you probably didn't watch Savior. You just can't admit that you're wrong, can you? 5 titles in 26 months, insane winrates during that time not good enough for you? Or is it the fact that Flash won a title during Jaedong's reign? Well, guess what, Savior didn't win everything either. It just so happens that Flash started emerging during that period of time, which is exactly the high turnover rates that I mentioned. During that period he had some terrible times as well when he was in semi slumps... He was and is a great player but you can't compare him to Savior or Flash The fact that you speak of his slumps, while he never had more than a 3 loss streak just serves to reinforce my point, really. Well, guess what, Savior didn't win everything either. It just so happens that Flash started emerging during that period of time, which is exactly the high turnover rates that I mentioned. Nope, Jaedong is statistically superior and clearly won more titles, though over a long stretch, than Savior. Savior's dominance was more about a complete deconstruction of everything we understood about the game and crushing his opposition with it. There is a reason no one really evoked Savior's dominance until Flash went balls to the wall crazy and won a billion titles in a one year span, and even then people were reluctant to give Flash similar credit. Jaedong had lots of ups and downs. Bonjwas were, despite only Nada and Flash only doing the double titles, generally never perceived as clearly the best even when they lost. Jaedong never had that, and I can't really articulate it that way. I'm glad you're a Jaedong fan and I understand why you want to put Jaedong in that category, but there's a reason Jaedong's "reign" is more of a retrospective. I've had this conversation a whole lot of times and I think I've even had it with you before, so I'd like to just say we agree to disagree. I don't think that we've had this exact conversation, but ok. And really, Boxer's, oov's and Nada's reign were more of a retrospective as well, so? I don't want to put him into the cathegory, he put himself there.

In an even 150-150is games or even max games with Terran going full mech and Vessel cloud, while terran in hydra lurk ling defiler and a control group of queens, zerg always wins because. 1. Queens limit tank number which makes it possible for zerg to close in 2. Broodlings attract fire and give time for other units to do damage + swarm 3. In a trade situation, Zerg always has the macro and remax advantage

I'm talking about the time when within 2 weeks he got eliminated from OSL, MSL and GOM. And really played poor starcraft. I think it was fall 2008. Slump is not all about loss streaks.

I like to imagine that broodwar is actually a hyper sped up process of years of battling. You know how it takes only scant seconds for a hydra to turn into a lurker? How about that's actually weeks of morphing and evolving underground! Sure, it looks like an SCV just builds a barracks out of nothimg, but that little bastard is actually hauling in and constructing that thing over months of diligent work. Soldiers are brought to the planet and trained on world to protect the resources being shipped somewhere more important, and the higher ups only send more reinforcements when it becomes clear the site can bring in more resources! This is the crazy shti I told myself as a kid i dunno maybe people are just made of rocks.

I think that the Terrans are having babies in the supply depot with SCVs being robotic Zerg hatcheries eat Minerals so they can produce hatch units Protoss utilize minerals to mine ore out of them so Probes are made. Then gateways are simply warping units from Aiur.
