Because there are some progamers who are in those clans so that's why SCL has Smurf card function. Till semi-final : Can be activated only once. From semi-final : Can be activated twice.

[13]Miscellaneous No useless chat during the game or be punished.
Streams
As far as I know all matches will be streamed/commentated by the Koreans using Daum/Afreeca. If you' re interested in restreaming let me know and I'll try to find out the relevant links. I'll try to find out whether we can live stream the Foreigner's matches.
Do people like jangbi actually play in this, or is it an honorary spot?
And since the other teams have bigger rosters, we should totally add a bunch of people like idra, ret elky, grrrrr, ect that will never play but might me recognized, and hopefully get them to prepare for the wrong people. And we should list them all as terran to try to even out our roster.
Hm, if anyone is going to play / practice on these maps with me please use mini launcher so I can practice with in-game timer, kind of a disadvantage to not practice with it when we will have it during the clanwar. I will be playing Thursday Night (11pm EST) Friday Afternoon (12pm EST)

The Korean clans put up their entire clan rosters it seems. I don't think the current pros will play but there are so many former MBC/Fox/Oz players who could possibly take part.
On December 08 2011 15:54 Hyde wrote: After reading the smurf card function twice, I don't understand what it's for? What does activating it do? Check for Progamer smurfs?
It's something like using a smurf account to allow progamers to play (who actually can't play cause of KeSPA). Don't understand it much myself, will try to find out. edit: k double checked. It's basically so that, until the semis, teams can only play 1 kespa-affiliated progamer under a smurf. Semis and Finals it's 2.
First match Neo.G vs Jy starts tonight 8PM KST (2:10hrs from this post). If you can restream from afreeca/daum let me know and I'll try to find you the link + put it on calender.

I think it applies for semi-progamers and teamless progamers but doesn't apply for ex-progamers.
By the way, there is some inconsistency in this thing: Which team will Mahell and Woong play for? Both of them are in the clan rosters of Minus and rual.
Is there any chance we can get this on the calendar?
EDIT: I'd make a LR thread, but I think it'd be kind of stupid since I can't speak Korean. The point is, this is a pretty big event. Let's treat it like one.

TL events need a TL stream. If we have a restreamer I'll calender it day-to-day.

What does this mean? A progamer can smurf under one of their other player's names one time before semifinals?
I'm now online going to be playing until the event, if I get a chance to play and can beat one person, GUARANTEED THERE WILL BE MANNER NEXUS! (I am really hoping PvZ on La Mancha cause I been doing 2 base arb rush, recall manner nexus ftw)
1) search for 리그 ("league" in Korean) in the Daum search thingy 2) Look for the one that has a pic of B.net 3) The person casting should be "bbulsori.com", so his ID should appear in blue in the b.net chat rooms. 4) Alternatively, if they are in game, there should be a banner on the top left, with the words "super clan league".
The restream I had was 1k quality, but I still had problems due to teh australian internets (lots of buffering). If you guys have a better connections, it's better that you stream.
It was fun to watch, too bad that FAT only won one game, but hopefully there will be more korean leagues/tournaments in the future where we see foreigners compete.

Here are the further results with a short description of each game: + Show Spoiler +
Game 2: Sziky > Doctor.K on Neo Aztec Sziky defeats Doctor.K in a huge macro game. The protoss plays a very solid macro style, not cutting corners or taking risks, and gets up to 5 bases eventually, but Sziky matches his economy, defends every push, denies every try at harassment, grinds up all the protoss balls, and eventually rolls over him with his 6 base hive-tech macro.
Game 3: Sziky < Move[gsp] on Circuit Breaker Sziky loses in an other macro game to a terran who showcases amazing multitasking ability, and very steady macro. Sziky holds on for long, but fights most of the game from behind after losing a third, and is eventually forced to tap out. After the game, foreigners are impressed with the terran, koreans are impressed with Sziky, and immediately start contacting him about possibly joining a korean clan.
Game 4: Jumper < Move on New Bloody Ridge Jumper goes for Nony-gates in the middle, amounting to a 4-gate goon all-in on Move's 1 fac expo, and even though it remains unscouted, Move reacts perfectly, manages to save the bunker, a few goons even bug out for Jumper, and he taps out after he fails to break the nat (and feels very bad about it).
Game 5: Koll < Move on Fighting Spirit Koll goes for his trademark 2-hatch muta, Move goes for a 2-rax expand thinking that all the foreigners want to cheese him. Koll does moderate damage with his mutas, but keeps the terran at bay while macroing up nicely to 3 bases and lurkers. All of a sudden when Koll moves in again to harass the main mineral line the terran pushes out instead of defending, and to Koll's surprise, breaks his nat, and Koll is forced to tap out.
Game 6: Pro7ect < Move on La Mancha Pro7ect doesn't go for his signature tank-wraith play, and falls behind quickly as his one fact push cannot do serious damage to Move's 1 rax expo, and Move jumps to 3 bases quickly while containing Pro7ect to his nat. Pro7ect almost gets back into the game by some decent harassment, but remains one base down all the time, and is forced to gg when Move starts dropping him with mass dropships.
Game 7: Gotunk < Move on Neo Aztec Gotunk goes for a one gate expo, and in a surprising act of clumsiness from Move he manages to break down the bunker in front of the terran's fast natural, but cannot do serious damage due to only pumping goons from one gate, so decides to double expand instead of pushing the entrance. Move goes for a two tank drop over Gotunk's natural, which all but wins him the game as it allows him to kill some probes and even the nexus seconds before getting cleaned up. Gotunk's gateways are matched in numbers by factories, and he gets rolled over in the next 5 minutes.
Thanks to everyone involved in this event. I can't remember the last time I was rooting for someone so badly. I hope we get more opportunities like this in the future.

Sziky played amazingly! I have never cheered for any BW player so hard. So did he get invited to a clan or something? I know that SKT T1 stuff was just a rumour but I thought someone said he got invited to a Korean clan?

The information was taken from their page directly Hyeon, which you know ;P
Also, the provided explanation at their site was kept very short and blurry, but apparently they did some sort of acc-sharing iirc. Why the replacements were done was also quite hard to find out, fact is, that they were made. For one reason or the other.
Title : UPDATES Details : iOps was exposed a scandal(proxy games on BnW league) and also banned from BBulsori league. Nameclan took iOps' round 16 place but Nameclan couldn't make agreements with ClanBy. So ClanBy withdraw from BBulsori League so Etro took Clanby's place. From now, on Semi-final there are Neo.G and jOin. Also round 8, there are Sea, KaS, Name, Etro.
@sayle gecko also asked me about the iops thing, and i found out it. hope you understand what i translated.
Just curious why don't we continually organize some practice sessions between some foreigners playing the new relevant maps that koreans play just in case we get another shot at something as cool as this. That way we don't have to rely on sziky and we can actually put up a decent effort against these koreans.

awesome idea
but yeah... i hope that there are still going to be leagues like this.. we need them for fun etc..
I don't think* there would be big clan league like this from now. BBulsori organizer said he's running out of money, need sponsor. Well, there can be some clan leagues, but i don't think we can be invited.. If someone asks me, i can find some which foreigners can participate.
@Sayle BnW is another clan league. It's almost same as BBulsori league. Anyway, what i meant "proxy game" was like smurfing. I think someone who's not in iOps play for iOps on BnW or the iOps player played for other clans.

any vods or stuff like this from this BnW league ?

and also - finding a nice sponsor shouldnt be THAT hard ? is it ?
I don't there would be big clan league like this from now.

I did it all as in the instructions and when I click on a game (in this case the semifinal group 1) some kind of fixtures pop out and no video like results (black, purple, blue) but I cant watch anything !
