Hi,
First of all, I am really sorry for the lack of news but recently, life hit me like a TGV (Train a Grande Vitesse - High Speed Train) and I am still "recovering". Let's say that imagine that your mom, your father and your GF died 2 days ago and it would be approximately how I feel right now. Thank to God, no one died but it's just a manner of speach about how things are for me right now and why I was away.
Maybe people didn't realize but PGTour was so much work, it was really insane. Always something minor to fix, the launcher to update (you do not noticed it because anti-hack part was server side), toooooons of PMs, Admins to manage etc... It was taking me over 30 hours/week. The thing is that I really like it and thats not the problem but with what is now going on for me, I didn't have any personal resources to manage all this anymore and I had to quit the comp and take care of other more important matters in my life.
Nevertheless, PGTour website and BNet-X are now done for the most part and to be honest, if someone would comes up with a good plan, I am sure that TiLaser and Chr1s would agree that some trusty people would run it if they had a good and viable plan to do so. What matters is the community and the game, not me. So I wouldn't mind to let someone else (preferably a coalition of people, not only one persone), to run it. Many things are important (such as money, managing Admins -and this is so important-, etc...) and all of this would need to be taken into consideration.
If not, then we will see what the future has in store.
And I also want to thank all PGTour Admins from the bottom of my heart. I know that I've been so demanding to them but Admins are the face of a community (they are what people see) and people make an opinion about a community mostly based on Admins behavior. You guys did a excellent job and maybe it is not yet over, who knows

i did not play on pgt much, but it is obvious you were like a semi-god for us scers. read the other thread (ignore that mexican guy and kaolla) and you will notice that amny people seemed to care about your wellbeing, rather than the server. this shows that you do not go unappreciated. i appreciate what u have done to help grow and feed the sc community, and i sincerely hope that you will fix the issues in your personal life, whatever they may be. btw i imagine what the korean progamers in pgt would have though when it didnt work for a few days ~

Yeah, this ladder was absolutely awesome, I don't think I've ever seen any other ladder actually succeed in making non-lt maps widely played (though the koreans practicing for courage league probably helped)

good job pat. but wasnt it possible to get any money from sponsors to support your project, since u had tons of gamers on your page;) maybe some new group of ppl who will lead this could think about this.

We understand. And from what I see, PGT will find a sponsor in the following 2 weeks almost for sure. So you need not worry, your work will not be lost and will not have been in vain. Good luck in your personal life - after all, it's more important than anything you do for the SC community... and big thanks for all you've done.
