Anyway, what strategy is good against Flash? probably the one that makes him use the most apm now >_<

Anyway, what strategy is good against Flash? jaedong has torn flash a new one with early aggression recently. i'd say the weakest part of flash's game is his early game. even flash's aggression is weak early game, he lost his whole push to jangbi in that game. he just managed to overcome it by taking a smart risk by securing his 3rd early, macroing up, etc.

I'd say try to exploit a map or metagame. If nothing else, some cheese. Killer is showing some ZvZ brilliance lol.

Flash vs. Jangbi was sick. Hope Jangbi can take a game off Flash so we get to see more high-level TvP. That timing and control was unbelievable to watch. Jangbi played great as well, sick micro.

1 - Sloppy play from both players, i was yelling at Fantasy when his vulture harrass on Hyuk's nat was doing nothing. Still, the better player won. Reaffirmed my love of Pathfinder, the map's architecture really makes games interesting. 2 - Hydra making ZvZ look easy. Nothing special, but if you're in the mood for a ZvZ it's a cool game 3 - BO loss, but what a BO loss. For me the moment of the game was when Soo messed up and pulled his lings back to his ramp when Killer was going after his natural for the second time. Really shows the importance of position in ZvZ, as Killer was able to split his lings, using half to contain Soo behind his ramp while the other half killed the hatch. 4 - Wow, what a great game. Flash's first push was awesome to watch, as was Jangbi's defense of it. I'm amazed Flash was able to come back - Jangbi was up 4.5 bases to his 3, with a bigger army, 2 speed shuttles with reavers, and had Flash pinned back. The decision to go for a carrier switch was correct, but seeing Flash spot it from his FP view and immediatly push at the 10 was amazing. Overall, a good first day. While it sucks that Flash and Jangbi had to hit each other in the Ro8, at least the number of zergs is getting cut down.

I am still having a hard time figuring out exactly where jangbi lost that game -.- To me it initally seemed like he soft countered everything flash did, well right up until the big engagment->loss buisness. I would say he simply got out microed, flash empd too many of his templars even though he had shuttles for them. The way flash played 3 base t vs 5 base p today was kind of remniscent of his old tvp style no? Usually these days he either ends the game off 2 bases or takes a super early fourth? Anyway, great games today imo. BW for life~~

Sorry for the mistake. | ||

Just like this very game, he took a ridiculously risky third expo but it gave him enough of an economic advantage to build a billion tanks and doom push to victory. I really hate it when people try and prop up that OSL finals as some suggestion that Flash is shit against early aggression - a blind BBS and blind greedy 14CC are both entirely risky but they're reasons why he wins so many games. There was a good post by Heyoka that looked into Flash's 14CC win rates and despite his reputation for losing with it (don't 14CC Flash, you will lose!), the figures suggested that he had an overall 65% win rate with that build. Which is extremely good considering all things.

So guys like Zero who are management style specialists tend to take flash out in late game, putting the pressure on flash to do something before hive tech.

I think not many terrans want to get to the late game because you know defilers + ultras + crackling + scourge + lurkers + plague = death for terran so yup . I do understand why terrans would want to kill the zerg as fast as possible or damage them so much they can't macro up on 5 base gas to kill you in a huge swarm.
