I do agree that the organizers (kespa ogn) are the most responsible for this. Apparently the chinese gov't put on an alert and banned outdoor events on the 5th. Kespa or whatevcer should have thought of a contingency plan earlier and at least notifiy the cancellation earlier than like 30 min before the event..

Yeah its easy to change venue ??? within 3 days after months of preparation get that kind of place to hold their event ? how if any reasonable organizer are going to pull a trick out of their hat in that kind of situation stop putting the blame on kespa.

There's a big freaking TYPHOON coming, at least tell the fans ahead of time that things are going to be delayed instead of waiting 5 minutes after the event was supposed to start! Like, no one saw this coming?

Delayed till when ???? we don't even know how much fund they have to run any delays for the program that is being held and now you guys are jumping on the gun and throwing all your accusation to kespa for this kind of situation ? . It's crazy nobody has to be in fault for this disaster .

it's unreal that people on tl have been talking about this typhoon for days but that the stage was set up and people were assembled and then told to disperse. if you're worried about danger why let thousands of people congregate in the first place. just cancel it ahead of time. goddamn

The fact that they didn't have an emergency meeting about how to deal with this until NOW baffles me.

Yeah, if the Chinese government already put out alerts on the 5th, then KeSPA clearly wasn't listening to them...

No wonder the Dogspa insults are rolling in droves in the Korean communities.

Exactly. They should have started planning for a cancellation as soon as they got the news. Instead they seemingly allowed the korean reporters to think the show might go on right up to the broadcast time. Kind of shabby treatment of the fans.

well, ok, so what i wonder now is.... did the chinese government cancel it for some made up reason because they didnt want the event to take place, for whatever reason, or did they seriously expect extreme weather today and reacted cautiously?

that is the really interesting quesiton for me

i would really say its 50/50 for now

huh? you mean there really is a possibility that the chinese government want to cancel the event? are you serious? if that's the case why do they agree to host the event in the first place.

Pretty sure it's totally the weather/possible disasters/debris/stage collapsing unless i'm totally ignorant to some conspiracy theory.

ok i sort of didn't communicate that well ( it is 3am here and i am pretty tired..)

i guess what i meant was that, yes the weather and the large crowd is the primary concern but the communist gov't is probably also being really hard-assed and uncompromising.

But that still begs the question "Why would they allow to host it in the first place?"

Truth be told, you are so incredibly ignorant (so very very very very very ignorant) to somehow link the communist government to this.

uhh...
i am just saying they are probably much more unaccommodating than, for example, the korean gov't probably is. if this happened in korea, i am sure ogn/kespa would have convinced the gov't to get the green light, especially since at the time of event, it was only drizzling.

chill out man
