Is the tournament going on right now? I would really like to watch. I'm on Sayle's stream and he's playing some kind of weird game (lol). Any tips on how to watch would be much appreciated ![]() Arg, Central European Time? Well any info on whether it's still happening and when I can watch is still appreciated ![]() I guess it's probably over, oh well.

While playing I noticed that there is this easy trick for cheese: while being in your opponents mineral line, select a probe from your mineral line and send it to his minerals, it then will go through both egg walls and you can safely proxy in his main, or just scout again;P

In my experience, that puts terran players at a ridiculous disadvantage, while toss is a race where it's only going to benefit them. For zerg, I have no idea about that race, so I won't comment. I just think it becomes pointless to end up having games where the quality can't be good due to circumstances. I really don't see how anyone could have had an issue with Destination being an unknown map..

I really don't see how anyone could have had an issue with Destination being an unknown map.. Unless you're a pro gamer or join clans, because you think there's a point to it, there's really no good reason to play a lot of different maps. You're talking about a tourney involving a lot of players that haven't played in months to years, that just come back for the hell of it to play in tournaments. Destination is a popular map. I might have played it 7 times before, with the last time being 6 months ago, though. Korean pros practice 14 hours a day for a reason... Try playing terran some time on maps you're not very familiar with. Let's see how good your builds are and how well you utilize the terrain. It's a silly premise. I don't mean to hate, I really don't. Having tournaments is always better than not having tournaments. I'm just offering my opinion that the importance of practice should not be forgotten. Some people like having a logical reason in order to play different maps.

If you don't even know destination, how are you suppossed to know any of the newer maps? Either practice on the maps, or accept that they are played, eventually you weren't forced to play in the tournament.
