I'm expecting Ruby to put up a great fight, assuming he worked together with FBH on their TvP. It would be cool to see an ACE placer advancing to the Ro16.

oh man ruby loses a bunch of his army by splitting his attack too much but he's got more units coming forces horang2 to waste a few storms with vultures

zero bringing a lot of ovies towards 1.5 - but they turn back ruby even irradiates 2 of them soooo many vessels, that's the only thing ruby has going for him ruby's going to starve much more quickly than zero
wow zero gets 3 scourge among the vessels and they still don't hit! finally like 6 scourge for 1 vessel
ruby distance-mining from center-5? shit - that parasited vessel should reveal the ghost but ruby nuking 12! ruby finds out in time and runs his drones into the nydus and picks up the lings in his ovie the nuke lands!
finally zero opts to attack with a lot of ultraling/scourge swarm is late but honestly it doesn't matter actually zero losing a lot of his attack force but he can afford it while ruby cannot one of ruby's armories go down
another round of ultraling attacking now ruby finally has nothing except for his still-large vessel cloud actually a bunch of mnm near 2.5 hold off the attack there but lings heading into his main well ruby still has another round of marines from his raxes - which temporarily hold off that attack?
how the heck is ruby holding against so much stuff? (well zero mindlessly throwing them) finally his army is depleted and he concedes

Is there some sort of website recommendations thread? I find the SC2 stuff gets in the way all too often. We need a filter for BW/SC2. I don't think it would be too hard, as we already have MSL/OSL/Proleague filters.
Anyways, what an entertaining game. Although the winner never really was in doubt, but it was fun rooting for Ruby to pull out a win somewhere.

That game was ridiculous can't help but feel Zero wasn't taking it to seriously. How long does it acutally take for one Lurker to break through thoughs temples because that game was pretty long and it still didn't manage it.
Also now I know what ZvT looks like if no science vessels die at all up to about the 25 min mark. Iridiate this Iridiate that Iridiate a whole control group of overlords. Hell why not. It's to easy lets see if I can iridiate spore colonies. that didn't go so well.

So we've seen 3 games for terran on this map and it didnt go so well for them. Mech didnt do it for fantasy. Is the answer in m&m bio play or do we have to wait and see if flash does a killer turtle for the win? Im pretty sure flash is watching these games and thinking about playing bio rather than mech.

In hydra's interview, he mentions that Monte Cristo isn't as T favored as most people thought, and zero agree with his sentiment. I assume that most progamers feel that it's T favored, hence his statement, though it certainly has been doing wonders for zergs so far.

Mediocre? Ruby is a TvZ specialist and Fantasy is very underrated for his TvZ. Sure his bio sucks, but he's amazing at mech TvZ. Fantasy just happened to run into SK who has a great record vs him and mech in general, and Ruby had to face Zero who has the second best current ZvT after JD.

Yes but maybe because it is attributed to the open ramps thats why Zerg is owning this up.
I have to agree with the open ramp thing is killing the terran. This map will be a good match for up pvz. Z will probably suken harder to protect their expansion against P.

As good as Horang2 can be in PvP you shouldnt forget that Grape practices PvP with Stork, Jangbi and Brave at Samsung, he surely has some tricks up his sleeve. Not to mention in his interview he talked about a "sure-kill" PvP build that he prepared for the ro32 and didnt have the chance to show off!
It will be a PvP series that I'm very much looking forward to.

Did you actually watch the game though? RuBy wasn't playing particularly good yet still lasted for ages turtling. He was on the backfoot the entire game and couldn't even make his way across the map. Flash is gonna abuse the shit outta this map and it's going to look like those extremely frustrating Polaris Rhapsody games.
