Hydra is actually multi-tasking pretty well, but that one decision Hydra made to go for a base trade left him so far behind.

He definitely intended to go for the full on transition, but after that big attack from Hydra he never stopped producing MnM.

Nevertheless, that was a nice showing from Hydra that he is capable of decent ZvT. If he brushes up on his late game more and pays more attention to not dying so much to mines, then I believe that we'll see a much more impressive performance from him next time! That was a great game Hydra, I'm still happy even though you lost. Beautiful tech switches. :D Snow, you better clean this up for your team. I have no idea how you call that game a decent showing from Hydra. He looked completely lost all game. Hell his Jaedong beating muta micro early on wasn't that great despite saccing a ton of his economy to get that many mutas out.

Couple that with having absolutely no gamesense and knack for defense. He let Sea walk all over the map all game long and threw away his third and fourth to do skin deep damage to Sea. It seems he might've inherited more from Effort than just being good -- guy struggled against even a slight showing of mech units.

It's actually exactly the opposite, Hydra played greedily and got a TON of drones in the early-midgame. Then he decided not to expand and not to defend his expansions and play 4base zerg vs 4base terran. Then he lost. Honestly, he got so damn far ahead, then inexplicably chose to go for some dumb allin base trade. Even after the base trade failed he woulda been fine if he had EXPANDED instead of building 50 lings and suiciding them repeatedly.
