I was hoping for Stork to pull a GGplay, but it didnt happen. stork is a surrender monkey, every time he has to show some mental durability he gets tunnel vision and completely falls apart or forgets most basic stuff, like to upgrade goon range. The only reason he won that previous match vs fantasy was because in game five he got an opening by stealing fantasy's gas, after that he played like a robot and won

I take partial blame however, as I couldn't make it through all the pregame at 5am after a long day. Sorry to let you down Stork ![]()

A.) Stork did not actually play poorly at all. He made almost no real mistakes and micro'd extremely well, had great storms, etc. Fantasy, on the other hand, read him like a fucking book and outplayed him straight up at every segment of the game. B.) Games 2 and 3 especially featured Stork losing without actually making a clear mistake at all. The preemptive wraith => shuttle snipe was just an amazing read from Fanta coupled with a sick followup that he had planned from the start (and would be strong against virtually any opening from Stork) and in game 3 Fantasy performed probably the sickest terrain-based harass I have ever seen in a pro match. Stork was manhandled and he didn't even play poorly (despite the 0-3 record). C.) That was the most dominating series I have seen in an OSL since July vs. Best. Even with the g1 tank snipe Fantasy was always completely on top of Stork and essentially threw him around like a ragdoll for the rest of the series.

You mean expect for the fact he picked absolutely horrible builds that played directly into Fantasy's hand and insisted on going carriers even though he already saw goli range with +atk upgrades spinning at armory when he came in with his first reaver?? Micro's not everything buddy. In fact, it's only a very tiny part of the game. If you don't understand how horribly Stork played from a bo5 perspective, then you should reanalyze the way you think about SC. The wraith wasn't a fantastic read. It was an easy guess because Stork apparently thinks he can go standard play every game and win. Fantasy did blind counter builds both games. He didn't read anything. Nor was it a very sick followup. It was a basic slow tank/vulture push that Stork had zero chance of stopping after losing his shuttle. In summary, Fantasy did nothing except snipe two shuttles then laugh as Stork's normal greedy 3 base play got wrecked due to not having reaver/shuttle for defense. You're using a whole bunch of hyperbole to compliment play that was really not all that special. Stork lost this series much more than Fantasy won it.

Can't wait for VODs. Did Fantasy revolutionize TvP like he was claiming he would?

In game 3, he was so far behind after the initial harass and his delayed 3rd and yet all he did with his army was just aimlessly wander the map chasing the dropship and vultures, killing mines, making a half-hearted attack at Fantasy 3rd with like 5 dragoons. There was no way he could just win by playing a normal macro game after that initial setback, and again, instead of doing something to try and get back into the game, he just chose to die a slow death. Apart from his crappy decision making, his game sense was just really poor in general. He really should've expected some kind of dropship play in game 3 and having absolutely no defense in his main against a drop (on a map where drops are really popular) was really inexcusable. Ask yourself, if that was Flash, would he be caught off-guard like that?

Kind of mad that he had to play Bisu ro16 now. Guess that's what I get for not watching Brood War for the past week.

Did Fantasy revolutionize TvP like he was claiming he would? Nah, he just prepared some good builds for an important occasion that worked perfectly against Stork's predictable play.

When Ssak had to play Flash in MSL, who did Oov get to help him practice? Light. Stork should have contacted Flash right after he qualified for the OSL finals. And maybe even block Jaehoon from practicing with Fantasy. Why jaehoon? Doesn't fantasy have bisu?

No transition was possible from there, as fantasy's harras was striking his eco and scouting main base to see any possible threats. In short- initial succesfull harras was close to game ender. When Stork made a poor work with defending it, it was instantly over.
