gL to all!
And don't worry there will be an open tournament for all SC:BW players soon~!
|
GL to all the players! Hope everyone plays well! =) I had to reread the bracket example, cause I saw "blah 3" and "blah 4" and somehow those two words merged into "blahman3344." <_<

GL Guys! I think sziky will take it, that guy is a beast last I saw him play. + Show Spoiler +

gl everyone! this is so exciting
|
oooo exciting. looking forward to it ^_^
|
So my prediction is going to go to the oldschooler, Gohan
|
|
|
Ramms = Androide, Ex, A2 or unknown Russian T ?
I have looked his match list, he seems quite solid :O
Rooting for Gohan anyway.
|
Afaik Ramms is Ramms, he could be Ex, you would have to ask him. But it is not Androide (not playing) or A2 (Fenster).
|
Great tournament ! Thanks ! I think Sziky should take it. He played at a really high level during TSL2.

He beat Heme 2-1 during their Clanleague match last week, so I think he's fine :<

Would you please also give use description of : Namarra[AoV] Marine[AoV] Joekim
And will we see Tennis strategies from Safina[AoV] ?

Ramms or Sziky will win, rest seem out of shape and I dont think Darling pain can beat Ramms PvT
|
Heme also has a great chance, he might have lost 2-1 vs Sziky in the defiler.ru tour, but he was able to take a game, so he has great chances.

Wow Heme playing ^_^ Gogogo! Awesome to see a tournament like this, it's like a mini-TSL. I'm gonna watch it. And thank you Sayle, for the english streams.
By the way, maybe put player races into OP? I know some of the players' races, but not all. I suppose organisers know the races.

This is sick stuff , but I would like to see scan on that roster, he is an Ex-progamer after all XD

This is so great, i'm so happy to see tournaments still taking place with high level foreigners within the BW community, Fight to keep it alive.

I hold 3 rules to hosting tournaments: 1 is no koreans, DorF.
|
I'm pretty sure ToT)GohaN( reached A-/A 1v1 before early on on iCCup or during PGTour days. O_O

which would equate to a modern day B!
B is like godlike now lolol.

Indeed, Game, we played some games at West back in the days

So they can't be a Korean, wouldn't that exclude people like Darling (Koreans living in other areas)? What about TL Korean members?

It's completely to my discretion. GoD has lived in Australia way longer than Scan in America. He is hardly Korean (as far as I can see) and speaks English flawlessly, the same cannot be said for Scan.
As far as korean TL members... it's not like a VIP membership. If a Korean can speak English better than a southerner from the USA I have no qualms. The lag issue as well as language and skill barrier are my main problems.
|
what account did you get A on Game? your LRM) shows u highest B, with not a great record either -.-
|
D4.Game is my random account where I got A but fell to A-. I've been able to smurf on my A account for 6 seasons and that is my Terran account. http://www.iccup.com/starcraft/gamingprofile/D4.Game.html As far as the bad stats go, I drop 1-2 ranks every end of the season because I try to play a million games at the end of the season. Reason: only newbies play at the end of the season so at B/B+ you get the best practice vs cheese. Just as well I only try to play at the beginning of the season because that's when all of the good people play.
|
The brackets have been added to the thread with the entire tournament layout. Enjoy. Gl & Hf to all players and staff participating.

Not sure how to take that. What if I don't organize them?
As far as the replay pack, I will be assembling that over the next 1-2 days as we are missing 7-8 games from 3 different players. (7 being from Heme and Ace whom were probably excited while playing)

Amazing tournament and I really hope we can see more of these. Cheers for organizers for great stream. Definitely saved my Sunday from being boring.
I guess the big secret will be revealed soon? I heard some whispers about sponsor and bigger pool of players? (Was in bit distracted when they talked about this...)

It was really great, GW for organising this tournament... Now I really regret I didn't prepare for it, or even bothered to paly some warm-up games. GW Heme, for winning, GW Game for your efforts in organising and promoting this, GW Sayle for a nice coverage... And let's hope we'll see a bit more of such events that will help reviving SC:BW even further :D ---------- MarinE[AoV]

I have posted the entire replay pack from the tournament into the OP.

The results are posted, Heme 1st, Ace 2nd, Game 3rd. The results/brackets have been added in a spoiler in the OP.

Was the last game (3/4 place with Game on it) casted or was it just a private game?

After a long day and in order to let the finals be cast without pressure, me and PatrOn played the games privately 2 days after.
