For the Finals... he gets TWO games on Aztec... are you kidding? So freaking imba for toss right now.

Fanta has to win 3-1 or he's not winning this OSL. I'm hoping to see some great play. I'd like to see a carrier rush, MnM ball, 2 fac timing, 12 nexus... you name it...

But they only play aztec one time. Gladiator is the ace map.

I think you are literally the only person in this thread that thinks Modesty was playing good. It's hard to say just how bad he was playing because Stork was so good. But that was a lousy bo5 from Modesty.

Modesty was rather brilliant in his battle plan against Kal. He showed preparation and the ability to execute specialized build orders

In this semi-final, Modesty played like your average Zerg. Nothing special behind his play, no clear defined gameplan other than standard transitions.

Though I think Stork prepared for modesty way more then he did for that one game vs zero. Not to take anything away from Zero, he played great but first of he had better map, second as I said, Stork had a bo5 OSL semi the day after.

I doubt that Stork will put equal amount of focus on the next MSL games as he will do for the OSL final. Zero is getting lucky that he plays Stork at this stage. Its just perfect timing for him.

Modesty played good.

Oh, come on. Way to cut my post short so that it looses all meaning. There is a huge difference between "bad", "good" and "great".

There are a lot of players out there who would have played much worse than Modesty today. Modesty did more than enough mistakes, but there were some good points. He was just at least one step behind Stork in everything he did.

Given the way Stork played today I think it speaks more that Stork didn't practice all that much for Zero and saw the obvious importance of practicing for OSL maps instead.

Ya, I think Stork put a lot more effort into his preparation for todays games.

amen. I think everyone is rooting for him. Fantasy is a heavy underdog in this one. I'm like positive most every Bisu fans are behind Stork now.

That depends if those Bisu fans are also SKT fans or Protoss fans.

Shouldn't matter. All BW fans should root for Stork.

I mean if stork would have had a OSL ro8 at the same time as MSL ro8 he probably would have put equal amount of tiem. But when it comes down a bo5 semi and a bo5 freaking OSL final, its obvious that Stork probably not even put in half as much time in his MSL box vs zero as Zero is doing.

With Zerg maps Zero can easy make this box look like a walk in the park so you should not trash down on modesty. He showed great skill vs Kal.

I wonder though how much time Fantasy has already put in on Stork. I assume he started to prepare alittle even though the opponent was not yet decided.

Oh please. As much as I love Stork, I'm not going to make excuses for that loss to Zero.

Preparation hasn't stopped Flash, Nada and countless others who've made simultaneous SL semi/finals.

Map imbalance mean little considering Zero pulled a non-standard BO.

And to be honest, all these excuses just downplay all the wrong moves Stork made throughout that game, and all the right ones Zero did.

Had Zero played like Modesty today, I highly doubt he'd be sitting one up on Stork right now.

You said "good" three times in your first paragraph. Stop backpedaling. I was only being cute anyway.

Ive always been a stork fan.

It's nice to see him winning again. Was a really happy day when he finally got the Gold he so rightly deserved.

Okay, but I don't like it if quotes get split up in such a way just to prove a point. And there are other people in this thread who say the same thing, but without using "good"! *nenenene*

I shed a tear of happiness that day. That's one of the two times I've done that due to SC (the other one being when Flash finally was back at the top after winning vs Movie).
