Lair going down for Shine. Jangbi's got his core up...and now a Stargate. Lair completes. Spire going down for Shine now.
Lings moving across the map. Jangbi's got a Gateway/Pylon/Forge wall-off with a few Zealots and a cannon. Fight going on. Jangbi has to pull probes, but the wall holds.
Jangbi moving out with zeals. Lings retreat, but Shine has crawlers up at Nat and third. Zealots poke around, but back off without engaging. Lings run into Jangbi's nat, get some probes, cannons, and snipe a HT. Shine's moving out with Hydras now. Jangbi's Zealots retreat. Battle outside Jangbi's nat. Zealots get cleaned up, Hydras moving in, destroying everything. HTs sit by uselessly w/o Storm. DT comes in, but overlord is there.
I think somebody out there needs to develop an anti-Shine build.
Taking early risk and do whatever it takes, skip whatever, just to make sure that the wall is ling proof, get that storm upgrade faster and more cannons than usual. And don't be afraid to enter late game with a slight disadvantage against Shine, cuz you will win once you survive the first 15 minutes.
Shine made that look so easy I'm tempted to scream about Z imba but really just an incredibly dumb oversight (not keeping track of Shine's lings) on Jangbi's part. Geez.

Stork built 2 cannons when he saw 4 lings in his first msl osl group match against Shine.

No, not at all. Once the tank count gets beyond a certain level, there's so much splash damage that dark swarms do basically nothing. The key to fighting metal is to throw massive amounts of shit at it and to vary your attacks and to never try press at chokes.

Depends on whether he had enough gas stacked up(which I doubt). Midas army was pretty close to his base and he had turrets there as well(supply line was pretty short). I really don't think things would have gone so smoothly with mutas. We won't find out anyway.
This was a game I honestly don't think I will ever forget. Not since Bisu beat Jaedong in 08-09 Proleague have I seen such a good comeback. Around the 33 minute mark I was literally holding my head down feeling so sad that my favorite BW player was about to be eliminated, and behold, 25 minutes later, he ends up winning against a super BM Great.

Vessels aren't such a major problem when you are not relying on stacked mutas. Easy to invest +1 or +2 carapace. Each upgrade reduces goliath damage by 2. Meanwhile vessels are utterly worthless against hydras, which is a key muscle unit. For an example of using muta+hydra in Z v Mech, watch Mondragon vs Brat_OK on Destination from the last TSL.

Some gols(he already had some gols in his mix) and irradiates will solve the problem, stacked or not. Zerg/Protoss has a chance to win the matchup before it gets to this point. Both rely on outplaying the def, harrass & follow up against terran to win.

You probably don't have a lot of expirience with TvZ mech.
Mutalisk can tank a lot of goliath dmg and kill tanks pretty easy and are relatively cheap. Hydras die quickly to tanks but beat goliaths and have a lot of dps and are cheap. Zerglings can be sacrificed to tank fire because they are cheap.
Aside from that, Zero has proven that Queen are pretty good vs mech because of broodlings

Vessels aren't such a major problem when you are not relying on stacked mutas. Easy to invest +1 or +2 carapace. Each upgrade reduces goliath damage by 2. Meanwhile vessels are utterly worthless against hydras, which is a key muscle unit. For an example of using muta+hydra in Z v Mech, watch Mondragon vs Brat_OK on Destination from the last TSL.
How hydra/ling beat 3/3 tanks? Any land units are going to melt. He can make 1 group of mutas to surprise midas but i doubt it gonna work on such high level. Some gols(he already had some gols in his mix) and irradiates will solve the problem, stacked or not. Zerg/Protoss has a chance to win the matchup before it gets to this point. Both rely on outplaying the def, harrass & follow up against terran to win.
You probably don't have a lot of expirience with TvZ mech.
Mutalisk can tank a lot of goliath dmg and kill tanks pretty easy and are relatively cheap. Hydras die quickly to tanks but beat goliaths and have a lot of dps and are cheap. Zerglings can be sacrificed to tank fire because they are cheap.
Aside from that, Zero has proven that Queen are pretty good vs mech because of broodlings
These only worked on mid game when T don't have 200/200 3/3. Hydra/ling rushing/dropping onto tanks at this point of game are worse than ultra/ling, not to mention it will dry up the larvae. Morever Great didnt have 3/3 on his air, no zerg will upgrade unless he is going muta the whole game. Also, he needs stacked 1.5~2k gas to produce that much mutas for impact. Midas will definitely know it if the land units deplete.
I'm pretty sure great had a timing to doom drop Midas' 3rd and 4th bases and would have earned the GG. What he did was waste every vein of his crystal and gas reserves by attacking Midas at his strongest point. He didnt even need to break that tank line, just let it stay where it was. That was such bad decision making. Another player like Soulkey would have finished that game long before he even started thinking about mining out.

Sorry that was a fucking horrible game. Fuck Grand Line SE and Mech. You should not be able to win the game with significantly less bases and doing so little. Great may have made mistakes but have you ever tried macroing from ten bases while using swarm and trying to do everything? Harassment is easily cleaned up its not even worth it. I think ZerO or Soulkey might have won it but the amount of multitasking and effort required to beat a player whos doing considerable less than you is ridiculous.
I'd like to see someone try double spire, second hidden and go for double ugraded mass muta with a few guardians thrown in sometime. Make sure to pump enough out at once that the goliath switch isnt enough to stop it.

at a point of time, there were only 3 goliaths at most on the field, and the rest are tanks and vultures.. if he could use those mutas instead of ultras, he could prolly clear a huge portion of his army
mutas are already a low damage unit, viable only midgame against this.. with 3/3 mech a no upg muta does very little dmg(5 damage glave wyrms ).. the melee units (and lurker swarm) are zergs only chance, hence the imbaness of heavily walled maps like grand line.
Yeah that was a similar game except in this one he was in a much better position even, having full control over the islands and by far the clear base advantage. Sea played well that game.
