If its fantasy vs. stork in the finals...can there be a draw?

i cant believe the worst potential matches are today and its so exciting i mean who would have thought everyone will try and see kal vs paralyze pvp yuck (my opinion) +it should be pretty straight forward for kal but u'll have all fans of players that may be contenders for the gold watch it and rooting kal + the skt and kt fans rooting for flash jd vs hogil zvz yuck yuck yuck (not my opinion but everyone's opinion lol) will determine if jd goes to tie breaker broodwar is getting more and more fun !! go jaedong dump that fool

Go Mind! Win today, and then go on knock out Stork in the tie breakers.
|
Kal should win this for the swarm.

If afrotoss loses I`ll be sad, and it has nothing to do with the potential lack of curly hair in the RO16..

Those whose fates lie in their own hands: Kal, Paralyze, Jaedong, Mind
Those whose fates lie in the hands of others: Flash
And those whose fates are already sealed: Hogil, Sea, Hydra, Free
Outlook not yet certain: Hiya, Calm, Shine, Stork

If for some absurd reason Flash, JD and Stork were all eliminated, this OSL could be very interesting, as well as very boring. :O Hoping for Kal, JD, Hiya and Sea (so that Stork is guaranteed a spot and Sea at least get a win)!

Ya, that is the official version. In fact, Hyuk has done the biggest service for the world, hopefully Paralyze/Kal is not going to spoil that .
Btw. hoping for Jaedong to advance, I know he can do it! Go, JvZ! Jaedong for platinum mouse.

I don't know about skill quality but I've found almost all the games I've seen from this OSL really exciting. This is either good sign for state of Broodwar or just means I'm really easyily entertained.
People seem to hate the map Pathfinder, but its made some really good games in my opinion.

Cmon Kal win please just to take out Flash out of OSL ^___^

Tiebreakers - Explained! (Feel free to add this to the OP if you think it's necessary/useful.)
On December 24 2010 08:08 Balfazar wrote: How do the tiebreakers work for Groups B and C?
For three players A, B, C: A vs B Winner plays C Winner plays [loser of AvsB] if necessary. Repeat as often as needed.
If A>B, A>C, A advances. If we need a second seed, BvsC, winner takes it.
If A>B, C>A, C>B, C advances. If a second seed is needed, A takes it as A>B already.
If A>B, C>A, B>C, B>A, B advances. If a second seed is needed, C takes it as C>A already.
Note that since the marathon tie-breaker will always have the same player winning every game in a given matchup (A>B>C>A>B>C>A...). So:
If A>B, A<C, B>C, B<A, C>A, C<B, A<B. Strike all but the last three games: A>B, A<C, B>C, B<A, C>A, C<B, A<B. B won consecutive games and advances as #1. C beat A (and has beaten A every time) and advances as #2.
Example: Most recent two-seed tiebreaker I can find: EVER 2009 OSL, Ro16 Group B. ZerO, Pure, Yarnc at 2-1, Hwasin already eliminated at 0-3. Games went Yarnc < Pure, Pure < ZerO, Yarnc <ZerO; ZerO advanced with the 1, Pure with the 2 seed.

I think I read that the tiebreakers are on Sunday

Good luck Paralyze! Here's a question: will flash be on hand in case of a necessary tiebreaker, or would they schedule that for a later OSL date? I can't remember how it worked back when Effort had his interminable tiebreaker for Korean Air s1 nvm just answered above me ^^

AFROTOSSUUUU~
:D
No way I'm rooting against him. I don't really care about if Flash is going to get eliminated, but not cheering for the Protoss with 2nd best hair in BW history would be a sin.

Incredibly tense night. I hope Kal vs. Paralyze turns out to be an absolutely epic game with Kal just barely winning. On the other hand, I hope Jaedong rapes Hogil because I can't handle the tension when it comes to JD.
