That was soo dirty. I think JD reacted like it was zergling rush. I wonder if he kept drones on minerals and just kept pumping lings if things would have been different.

Or if he took out the probe and managed to get 2 lings on the pylon.

Proxy 3 gate isn't something you want to be greedy against. Mass zealots murder pre-Hive tech zerglings since they can't get surrounds anymore and don't do enough DPS to kill zealots fast enough. At the end of the day, with the build Jaedong chose, he would have to pull drones either way to defend against it.

About the pylon, they're not Starcraft 2 pylons. Starcraft 1 pylons are tough as hell, takes a long time to take down what is effectively a 600HP structure especially when the protoss already has zealots out (Stork already had a gateway). Jaedong's reaction was adequate I think considering the late pool (13 or 14 pool can't remember) he was pretty much stuffed; closest example to this game I can think of is Nony's proxy gate response to Idra's one barracks expand.
