Sorry but as it was just demonstrated Silent_Control beat Kingdom. So I don't think a 3-0 finish for Reach is very realistic. I'll reserve how much merit I put into this when I see the Control/Kingdom game.

Kingdom was a dumbass and didn't make Zealots, I don't expect Reach to make that mistake.

Um, you are fellow Korean and everything but because of what you just said, everything you ever say is now invalid to me. Control is not second Boxer and never will be. You should take a look at what Boxer has achieved and then look at Controls. If you divide Boxer's achievements by about 8 then you get Control. Oh yeah minus Boxer's amazing micro, creativity, and overall ownage of the whole pro-gamer scene for basically 2 years.

Well no. Control's TvZ builds and micro is just like what Boxer did when he was in the shape. Most of the time, he does those cute little academy-fast-and-getting-tons-of-firebats-with-stimpack-when-zerg-has-nothing-but-drones build, which is pretty similar to what Boxer does often. He also cheeses a lot, and most of you probably still remember that Boxer cheesed everyday when he had chance.

His TvT...yeah, he defeated Nada few times and has decent TvT skills, which is also pretty similar to Boxer's, since his TvT mechanic is pretty good. It was TvP that Boxer lacked.

And TvP, Control doesn't play like others do. He has his own timing to attack and defend (he sometimes does 8-Rax build, just to get to Fact early), which makes his TvP special but also makes it look like a noob when he gets defeated. Boxer also has his own timing and style, but he loses a lot, and when he loses, he looks like a TvP noob.

Now, all the styles are really similar, and I think that he's the second Boxer. People say that Casy is the Post-Boxer, but that's only his TvZ micro, and guess even Xellos has that. So done with him.

And yes, Boxer did so much that his achievements cannot be compared to any other gamers in the whole world (it was Boxer who made all this game thing so famous and enjoyable) but I'm just talking about Control's play style.

I agree with whoever before that said that these matches are more map dependant than ever.

4/4 for me today as I jump 20+ liquibet ranking places.

I'm sorta sorry that Kingdom lost but Requiem seriously sucks PvT, so I wasn't surprised. Plus, I don't know where this Kingdom=God thing comes from. He's won ONE OSL. What has he done in any other league recently? He certainly isn't, in my opinion, as good as Reach or Nal_rA and I don't think he's as good as Zeus either. And Control is no slouch either. It certainly wasn't the gimme everyone thought it was, obviously.

I'm disappointed about Zeus...and iloveoov has me thoroughly convinced now that he is top notch (yes, I'm a slow believer). I didn't get to see today's matches yet, but to knock of Zeus 2/3 and completely blowing out his group in the first round...he's been very impressive. JulyZerg is STRONG zerg, though...I don't think the next round is a 3-0 gimme. I still see a Reach/oov final, though.
