It's either an earlygame all-in or turtling until hive (ended in this case by a lack of cannons).
This is why I cannot cheer for him. Stork clean this up please. Uh did you not see the last MSL he won? You make it sound like he's an all in player lol. Thats like me saying Stork whenever he wins just goes for a 2 base attack then expands. :S I didn't include that because the last MSL he won was, to be honest, pretty long ago. JD's very capable at winning a long macro game (game 3 vs flash last MSL, for instance), it's just in an incredibly defensive style that I don't like as a spectator. That's not a slight against him as a player, because he pulls in the wins. I just wish he would create more interesting games from his side.
I'm guessing you don't play Zerg, as the flow of ZvT is basically getting ur third, and then defending with swarms until 4 gas and ultras. There just is no way you can engage a Terran army midgame with Lair tech units unless you flank extremely well with tons of lings. Lurkers are defensive, and mutas are'nt really frontline units.

Stork please make TWO cannons
|
the poor drone tangling with the nimble probe
ol/pool done, 3 eggs
stork starts one cannon, and a 2nd coming? ol floating over stork's nat choke
|
|
good stork will probably need just 1 cannon this time
|
fucking isp lagging the shit out of me
|
Jaedong probably has the stronger mind, he gained more experience the last month.
|
4 lings shut down the manner pylon at jd's nat
just one cannon?
jd pulls 4 lings back to his main to kill the scouting probe 3 idle though
|
|
ooh cute stork pylon
especially cute because it lets him get away with 1 cannon because the lings have to kill the pylon

No, Calm won in four games, not five.
so im actually right. flash was the only one to best JD in a 5th set :D
|
wow stork staying w/ only one cannon
but jaedong isn't going to break anytime soon i guess, seeing as how he's occupied w/ that scout probe
jd taking his 3rd
|
IS HE MAKING THE NEX AFTER THE FIRST CANNON
HE IS
|
jd taking 3rd at 10
jd actually having a slightly difficult time killing the scouting probe, as he takes his main gas
|
Stork should just use Horang2's 10-gate mass speedlot build and end this.

You really can't afford to lose corsairs, and you can't stream reinforcements (have to wait for two production cycles, or bring your army back to pick them up) if there are speedlings in the middle.
If you don't have the maximum possible number of units, your push is going to look dumb and you will lose.

Yes Flash is the first player to beat Jaedong on the 5'th set. Hopefully Stork isn't the second but with how I have seen jaedong playing I won't doubt it (i'm not talking about just today just lately he's been trying to play way to greedy and its costing him a lot of games)

I didn't say he was playing wrong. I know how ZvT works.
Just that I find his games far less exciting to watch compared to a lot of other Zergs (which could be a product of Flash's aggressiveness in those finals games, I suppose).
