- Last MSL was the first time Flash ever beat Jaedong in a Bo5. This WCG is the first time Jaedong ever beat Flash in a Bo3
- Since Jaedong won the EVER '07 OSL, there has been only one season where neither Flash nor Jaedong was in a final (Fall '08, Stork/Fantasy OSL + Bisu/Jangbi MSL)
