I want the amateur to take a game off Kal but at the same time I feel Kal loosing might get him mentally and make him slump.

...Too late? I hate this, too many PvPs, stop killing off protoss!!!
Yeah, I mean, a worse slump- Kal still plays some decent games, against jaeding and stork, although he didnt end up winning them.
lol people flooding the poll for the amateur haha hiya vs jangbi should be very good, though

Kal has a lot of haters for some reason :/
kal is a baller but always fun with an underdog
HiyA must win in order to make HiyA vs JD happen!

Olympus = hogil's twin brother? Holy shit they look alike
The depth of your analysis.
Kal went for the DT rush, but the new guy decided to go for the robo bay first. This probably won't end well. EDIT: Loss wasn't as devastating as it could have been. The new guy is in a decent position. EDIT 2: LAWL. Losses his shuttle/reaver carelessly after having dished little damage.
skinny DT squeezes through and Kal nabs 5 probes
On August 10 2010 12:14 Masheyoon wrote: Kal went for the DT rush, but unfortunately the new guy decided to go for the robo bay first. This probably won't end well.
Kal is still ahead in supply with an earlier expo and cannons
Olympus trades shuttle and reaver for 2 dragoons.
Kal and JangBi. Kal vs Olympus... Kal wins for sure. JangBi and HiyA JangBi will show his true awesome PvT skills = )
Kal clears the probes at the natural vs 6 probes.
Rofl, Kal is almost doubling the other guy in food.
Kal just destroyed all the probes in the nat with that stormdrop
Wow. New guy tries to harrass with a DT drop but losses his shuttle, Kal then counters with a 10 probe kill storm drop. Kal shows the new guy how to harass effectively. He should type in "This is pro." =D
Another storm drop from kal, slightly less successful, but gets probes, and is followed up by his army pushing in. Another storm and gg. Kal ftw.
Steamrolled, ridiculous what a difference there is between a semi pro and a pro.

i don't know why they have to get amateurs to play. they should just let all the non top 24 kespa players qualify for wcg korea finals in the same manner they do for amateur/semi-pro's
I really want Kal to win something big, doesnt get enough credit as his play makes him deserve.

Fuck yeah. These games are horrible to watch.
If im not mistaken this am has to be high A on iccup which makes me think he would be able to block his ramp properly and not lose his reavers like he did, I think a lot of it is the mental aspect of playing on tv and against a pro.

Not all of them. Ever)Z(Woon was very entertaining.
hey guys just got here, first game over?
Tell them to skip to Hiya vs. Jangbi. Both of those players can hack it on the A-team.
Just proxy two gate him and make it fun.

I think it's kinda fun. The progamer games aren't always much more entertaining at this stage in the offseason. I like seeing the new blood in action. This guy looks like a mole, for example, and that's good enough for me.
Kal doesnt even scout? Oh, there he goes.
Kal gets manner pylon'd. And again!
Kal'z zealot hacking away at the 2 manner pylons blocking his econ. 1 down.
Two manner pylons on Kal's base trap a lot of probes. Oh wait, not so many.
I don't think those two manner pylons were really worth the minerals required.
Kal loses a probe to a single zealot, and then finishes off the zealot and the last manner pylon. We'll see how he exacts his revenge now.

Yeah, I don't think they were worth it either. Well not the second one anyway.

More dts on their way for Kal.
How did the noob guy manage to lose his scouting probe when there were TWO manner pylons? And Kal is once again going for the DT rush. Smart move seeing as the noob guy wasted 200 minerals early on.
The amateur is about to lose to DTs in 2 mins.

Well... 3 gate versus DTs
Kal's DT starts to hack away at probes. Meanwhile his opponent is attacking with goons, but without an obs, and is losing said goons to a DT. Kal's DT finishes off all the probes on the mins. 20 kills. lol gg

Ya. I rarely have this feeling, but I really feel like I've just completely wasted the last 30 minutes of my life.
July 2.0 goes down in smoke.
Why didn't the amature guy move his probes out of there? He was in a tough position, but he had to wait for the obs. If he wasn't going to GG the moment he saw the DT, it surely would've been better in the long run than just leaving them to get slaughtered. -.-;

Cause he knew it was over anyway. He was down an expo, behind in tech, and at the very least had to stop mining for ~20 seconds while the obs warps in. On August 10 2010 12:37 JohnColtrane wrote: well he is an amateur

Hiya and Jangbi seem to be having a good time chatting before the game. Both seem to be pretty entertained.

kal is playing jangbi too, so wierd lol
No FD
is it me and my crappy computer or is the stream really spiky?
Probably crappy computer and/or internet. Kentor's stream is completely fine. Hiya attempting dropship play and lands vultures inside Jangbi's third.
Wow probe misses the dropship.
Wraith kills Jangbi's shuttle and his reaver is forced to crawl back home. Both players expanding again, Hiya taking third and starting to create a triangle defense while Jangbi take his fourth base at 12 o'clock.
jangbi warping in a 4th at 12, making an arb tribune too
hiya killing alot of probes :C
Jangbi blows hard at PvT right now, getting raped by vultures and mines.
Wow vulturedrop kills 4 goons and some probes. Bit missmicroed here by Jangbi.

JESUS CHRIST JANGBI wall off that expansion
kentor's is perfect for me too
Jangbi is still sacing Units to mines all over the place - this will turn out bad.
scary force for hiya, taking his 4th too jangbi has 4 bases
Jangbi has lost a lot of units needlessly.
man hiya has alot of tanks
here have my templars i dont like them, really
Good stasis but waaaaaaaaaay to many tanks for Hiya... this game seems over.
That's a nice counter by JangBi
Wow... Hiya not reinforcing properly with Vultures, as a result his whole tank army gets destroyed.

Well he sended like 10 Vultures to the bottom left for harrasment. But yeah it was kinda hard to pass that many goons. Maybe it was the right move after all.

2 Arbs denied with emps. Hiya moving up, Jangbi's army is about to be crushed again.

Arbiter and science vessel tango at the bottom left. Science vessel gets the girl.

Imba map to make up for PR. But if JangBi storms his way back into this, it'd be amazing. HiyA has so many tanks though, it's insane. Ah GG.
The commentators are relieved to see a gg pop in the screen.

HiyA had beastly TvP like Jangbi had beastly PvT. Besides, Hiya's 4-2 against Jangbi, 5-2 now.
If Jangbi had been producing probes at any of his three mining bases, he would've been in a lot better position. Instead, he had like 9 at each of them, which made him poor.
Gg. Very nice play from Hiya. His only mistake was getting overambitious and getting his main army trapped (and subsequently slaughtered) after destroying jangbi's main.

BBS or cannon rush... please.
Gas steal from Jangbi. Lets see if he proxies a robo after. gas steal ---> proxy reaver / elevator rush is the hardest thing in the world to defend
gas steal to gateway expand? =\ I always felt this plan puts Protoss in a mediocre position
Zlot runby is always classy... unless it fails hard.

Got a feeling Jangbi's about to get owned hard by this attack.
Huh, I stand corrected. Vults catch up to tanks too late and on a different path, let's the goons take care of them easily.

another crappy attack from hiya.

Magikarp vs Jangbi games never make any sense. So many times you think Hiya is going to fail an attack and then suddenly the world turns upside down like that game on Moon.
Are both streams really laggy for any1 else?
god damn, hiya is so good tvp right now reminds me of an in-form fantasy despite small failed attacks, his great vulture movement and macro wins him it
God dammit wheres the signature Jangbi god-tier storms
FREEAGLELAND 26780 Posts
Hmm that was a good stasis.
Monster stasis takes 3 tanks and a few vults from the fight, enough to Let Jangbi keep his third. For now.
woah while i was typing, a fat stasis catches like 4 tanks and a vulture woo~
Hiya: who needs tanks, i gawt goliaths

It's a simple addition of opposing factors; HiyA understands TvP + nobody understands HiyA

And somehow he's up by 30 supply. Damn I wonder what happens when he attacks smartly.
hiya knows the 1 o clock nexus is there, but decides to just roll over jangbi's army with his 40+ supply
How did JangBi loose this?
hiya sieging one, taking out his third jangbi sending an arbiter and a couple of forces down for a flank spotted and is being taken out

Hiya's so good TvP, he read Jangbi like a book
Nice comeback from hiya, definitely though jangbi had that one after early game. Probably helps when he has horrible encounters and goes goon first into a tank line -.- RO16 JD vs hiya O_O team kill!!

If you like aggressive tvp then game 2 of Hiya Jangbi,
O.o Hiyas gonna play Jaeeeeedong >_<
What? No ceremony? Tsk, now I don't even have a reason to watch the vods.
Jangbi's play was garbage, in game 1 he drops a Probe at 9 and then refuses to build a nexus there the whole game, instead choosing to take expos he couldn't defend which were predictably raped by vultures. He had a good chance to stop the initial push in the center, but after getting good stasis he chose to back off, wait for the unfreeze and then get raped rather than break it. He also built about 10 HTs all full of mana but only had about 5 storms the whole game. It was Hwasin vs Luxury bad. I'd accuse him of throwing the game but it's WCG, so I'll just stop supporting him instead. I can't wait to see Stork's next PvT so I can see some competence and wash away the memory of Jangbi's pathetic play.
