OSL Ro8 is completely random*. So if all 4 of those players advance, they have a small chance of avoiding each other. Remember a couple OSL's ago where Flash and Jaedong met in the Ro8? Best two players right there were forced to go at it in only a Bo3, and because JD lost in the Ro8 he did not get rewarded with a seed, while players like Shine were.

I thought that season would have convinced Ongamanet that the Ro8 should be Bo5, but they insist that having the second best player eliminated in the Ro8 in a Bo3 is perfectly fine.

*I could be wrong, but irrc.

part of the problem is the OSL doesn't reseed by ranking at the ro8, unlike the MSL where they will reseed after ro16 games are over. Just one thing I wish the OSL would steal from the MSL.

If Flash, Bisu, Jaedong and Stork all get first place in their groups, then they will not meet each other in the Round of 8 since first place has to meet second place. So it's not completely random.

The reason Flash had to face Jaedong in EVER 09 was because Stork beat Flash leading to Flash getting second place in his group.

pretty classy of Effort to avoid the teamkill. Hope the SKT players will remember it and return the favor once they're on top.

Individually, Fantasy and Flash probably have gotten the best groups for themselves - Fantasy with pure TvP while his opponents don't have that luxury, and Flash's group having the weakest players.

The golden ball system really basically allows a seeded player to pre-pick a crap player or a player they think they'll do well against beforehand, really hurting those player's chances - but them's the breaks.

Wonder if Effort will regret if it Bisu contributes to knocking him out of the OSL? But probably not - Bisu has to focus on the playoffs while Effort doesn't.

Also, Flash playing extremely safe by taking Hyuk as his Golden ball so he could guarantee what he thinks would be a free win for himself. THEN kicking out the most difficult player in his group. Very very strategic.

Sorry Superarc, if Snow had the best PvT he wouldn't have been kicked out of the tournament by a terran while playing like trash. It'd be like me saying Stats has the best PvZ because he beat Effort and Zero recently, but got kicked out of the tournament by Hydra -- it's unfair to other players who've proven themselves to be consistent throughout the tournament thusfar.

You can say Snow has good PvT, but when he can't rely on his one clinch matchup to advance, then he's not the best.

I like when Stork drew both D groups, and was like "Originally, I wanted C or D, but after Jaedong joined I wanted C" XD

OSL ceremony was great all around, but especially, Pure and Kal trying to get rid of JD
