I don't know if he could have, they never showed the health of the thing, but yea that's what I was thinking too, "focus the hive!"

I don't hate Shine at all, I'm just sick of CJ players dropping in individual leagues so much

archon's attack coding is really weird i think all i can say is that the scourge didn't get hit directly and only recieved splash/area damage

Actually that was a text book play from shine on how to deal with an aggresive protoss who delays his third and goes for the kill the zerg's main . Guardians were a bit late thought .

It's interesting to watch Shine because unlike most top progamers he really doesn't seem to focus much on his micro. Rather he makes up for it with really nice stategic play. It's quite an unique style. Edit: I guess he's like the anti-Jaedong in that respect. Jaedong doesn't do all the little strategic moves rather he focuses on more obvious strategic goals and just micros/multitasks like a bastard.

Actually, what's even more imba than mutas are the lings. Cheap stuff that you can just send across the map to obliterate enemy exp.
Edit: And on the Hive discussion: It was already bleeding profusely, had maybe 1/3 hp while he still had 3 archons and a couple of goons there.

Movie should of steamrolled through Shine's base earlier, he delayed the push because he had no observer, I think that was a mistake. He should of just attacked anyway, Bisu is an expert at killing lurkers with no observer.

movie hit the OLs instead of hive. Hard to say that that was that bad a decision

Sounds like ForGG and By.Hero. Not really unique, more like they just don't have the micro lol

Archons do 30 explosive damage, I believe. Explosive damage does 50% damage to small units, 75% damage to medium, and 100% to large units.
25 - ((30 * .5) - 0) = 10
Where 25 is the scourge's health, 30 is the damage the archon does, .5 is the damage type vs. unit size, and 0 is the armor a scourge has.

PLEASE. No please. Shine is sexy and he won't lose to this gimmicky protoss player.

I believe archon's attack is consisted of a multitude of weaker attacks, much like the 2 x 8 attack of the zealot. I guess that's why the +3 archon will switch targets when attacking lings because he kills it in one hit with damage left over

Jesus, somebody get that booth girl a hamburger.

Stop calling it "a observatory.".
It is "an observatory."
Yet, stilll, somehow people still write "he's got an observer out."

So is it just me who thinks Shine could have easily ended the game with his first mutas?

No, archon does normal damage.

A lone lurker sitting outside your base yeah. Killing a ton of lurkers burrowed in the zerg's base along with lings/mutas/sunkens everywhere is a different story lol
