In the other three games, Stats obliterated Lomo (who came up in this thread since he beat BeSt), Barracks beat Daezang in a game I didn't see, and Tazza beat Boxer. There's no results to call T>P on (actually precious few results at all) - the only meaningful stat we have is the huge # of TvTs.
It's not like there's significant Z >>>> P results either beyond the normal.
Watching Stats rip up Lomo made it look like a Protoss map.
Now, I'm not an expert, so would someone explain why everybody would decide "Terran Map"?
You said it yourself - the huge number of TvTs. The coaches have a lot more data to go on than just a handful of televised matches and they obviously feel that it's a very strong map for terrans.

BeSt is astonishingly good at some things (his unit micro is great in large battles and his macro is unrivaled), decent at others (withstanding early timing attacks, fighting off well-executed sneaky strategies), and downright bad at cheesing. Have you ever seen BeSt trying to cheese someone else? It's beyond sad. It's tragic.
Unluckily for him, every other programer knows this and they play to his weaknesses, which is why his greatest strengths don't come into play as often as he'd like.

In a plain macro war, despite that being BeSt's favorite game plan, I still think Flash should have come out better in the end. This is one game I'll have to watch very closely once it's released because in my mind, good old 2-base arbite macro play from BeSt is not nearly what it takes to down Little Monster on his current turbo mode. Flash is not the kind of guy who makes a lot of mistakes, or any mistakes at all...
With that been said, I consider the game a fluke. It should be no surprise that future of the Protoss race lies in the hands of Violet, Flying, and hopefully Free or Pure if they keep improving like Violet and Flying are. For some reason I can't see Movie or Kal ever getting anywhere despite looking hot at the moment.
I've been hyping Violet ever since day 1, when he was a no namer. This guy simply plays P with a lot of class. I'm really, REALLY happy that he took down the ultra-overhyped "SKT zerg bonjwa" Hyuk, who of course happens to be in great shape, but is in no way more talented than Violet.
Also, you have read it here first: It's just a matter of time before Flying takes down someone with a big, big name, which will trigger the calls for OMG NEW BONJWA OF PROTOSS for many threads to come in the TL forums.
About the ace game, I'd screw the map. I'd send Bisu to fight Flash over Fantasy any day of the week, on any map possible. I know lot's of people enjoy Fantasy harass style but he simply doesn't play at the same level as Flash - that's something only achieved (sp?) by Bisu and Jaedong.
To end this already insanely TL;DR post, I'll add my obligatory estro fanboy note: Same BeSt who owned Flash yesterday is the BeSt who, just a couple of weeks ago, got wtfrolled by Classic's perfect biomech play in one of the most one-sided and impressive games of the current PL.. estro fighting.

It was 4 to 5 base Arb macro with 200/200 goons/zeal... and its harldy a fluke since best is 3-0 over Flash now.
