I agree wholeheartedly. It just boggles the mind. It especially irritates me considering how much praise Fantasy receives. But hey, the human brain is stupid -- the greatest mind of 20th century said so himself.

At this rate, KT will be in the Proleague finals as well, and the lack of practice time will 'only' allow him to win one of the leagues like JD.

Flash doesn't really have haters, he just doesn't have as many fans, or they are just not heard as much as Bisu/Jaedong fans (for obvious reasons)

We've seen Zerg dominate long enough. Two ZvZ finals was just brutal.
Time for a Terran master to ascend to the throne once more!
I can't wait for the replay of this. I'm still trying to figure out how Hogil engaged Flash with like 8 lurkers and Flash looked like he only lost maybe 6 or 7 marines to it.
|
well the way he broke the lurker flank was because there werent enough lings with the lurkers which meant they died before they could get spines off. but thats good planning by flash to cut hogil off from his lings. still pretty damn good by flash, BUT if you want to see an even better defense of a lurker flank by flash, watch the 08-09 proleague game of flash vs roro on outsider about 2-3 min before the end of the game. now THAT was sexy

There's always more than enough reasons why someone just can't win both Starleagues. But it's defying the odds what makes a player great.

I think if PL didn't exist, Jaedong might have won both leagues last season. But Calm is clearly for real so maybe that's not the case.
But how sick would it have been if JD had won both leagues at the same time - the act is nearly unthinkable at the moment and he almost pulled it off. Jaedong can never win a league again and it no longer matters. Of course it's hard to imagine that Jaedong would not win another league but it was even more hard to imagine that Savior would never win again after beating Nada.

dont think so, and even if he has to: his opponents in pro league are pushovers, seriously

Bisu's highest peak was 2364.
FlaSh's current ELO, which is his highest, is 2346.
But this is excluding today's 2-0 he achieved. He should probably break it in maybe the next win or so. So no, it's not something ridiculous like another 10 wins in a row...

I don't like flash, he is just too consistent.. Let him lose a BO3 to shine - then we're talking.
Also: i think he's the best player in the world right now.

Beofre the 2 game stomping of Hogil, he was 18 points behind. That's definitely less than 10 games. Hell, depending on who he plays, that's like 2-3 games now.

I think saying JD will never win another league is way, WAY premature right now. He's not slumping hard or anything, just had a bad last clump of games.
Also, Flash now has a 13 game TvZ win streak to match his 13 (Proleague) game TvT win streak.

Hate to sound like a broken record but he often looks like the best player in the world at this time of the season. Remember WL in February when he won 12 straight? He finally lost to Upmagic after winning 3 straight against Estro (nearly salvaging yet another WL match). He then lost to Best the next day and Leta twice two days after that =(

Hm, somehow I thought the 2346 was after this victory. That was what I based my rough guess on...
my bad

Let's be honest guys, we just saw Flash display an immaculate game.
And now it's Jaehoon vs FBH.
If someone asked me what could possibly be the worst match up ever, it'd be either this or Rock vs a very hyper cat.
